We all have read in class 9 about the unity in diversity of india. Language is one of those factors. Recently, I have made 2 friends from k'tak. One was able to speak hindi meanwhile other wasn't. I believe that there is a need of common language so that we can communicate with others in a good way. Look, in this era we can't ignore english language because it's widely accepted by the world. Hindi is being imposed on the south for seven decades. We are treated as inferiors by Hindi speakers in our own states. Show me an Uttar Bharath Telugu(Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil) prachar sabha ?
First let them translate one advanced science book into any regional language. Then even without imposing people will read and use for their future.

Other language people dont think their language is worth fighting for. Gujarati rajastani and all other north Indian language already accepted that their language is not worth carrying forward to the future so they choose hindi. Dont expect that in south.
Mr. Rajput, why the hell should we learn a language which we hate? We speak the oldest language which is still in existence. We shine all over the world. We detest Hindi and we love Tamil and English and we are successful. They more you try to convince the southerners to learn Hindi, the more we will hate you. Try to learn our language before you ask us to learn your language. We have the best and the oldest literature in India. Go west, saucy pedantic wretches.

Lets say, one superpower colonized India and China and govern the country as Chindia. After both its people fight and gain independance, The majority Chinese abusing power, make Beijing as capital, Chinese as national language and Chinese as PM and punish those oppose as anti Chindian. The Hindi chauvinist will agree? It is very wrong PM, capital city and common language all are hindi centric which will give advantage to some and inequality to others. Where is the separation of power and justice? All non hindi speakers should unite against this hindi colonization before they lose their identity and treated as second class citizen in their own country. Boycot all things hindi till International language english is the only common language and all major indian languages officially recognised for progress and peace.
We all have read in class 9 about the unity in diversity of india. Language is one of those factors. Recently, I have made 2 friends from k'tak. One was able to speak hindi meanwhile other wasn't. I believe that there is a need of common language so that we can communicate with others in a good way. Look, in this era we can't ignore english language because it's widely accepted by the world. And then it comes to our regional aspirations. We can't ignore our own culture so it's important for us to also get proficiency in our regional language like telugu. And the most controversial language which should be the common language, shouldn't be seen from political paradigm, if we see it thru politics we will never be able to reach any consensus because in any case opposition and ruling party can't say same idea. So I think there should be a committee which should take care of the common language which must include only scholars. I believe the most effective way to sort out this issue should be the language which is spoken by majority.
So, if everyone comes to the conclusion that the common language should be Tamil or Kannada, would you learn either one of them?

Hindi was selected in 1949 without asking public approval by 2/3 majority. .
They simply picked it without bothering about majority people. This is called dictatorship and arrogant. Nehru and rajindra Prasad two Hindi speaking people are responsible for this issue.
Mother tongue plus english as link language absolutely enough . Anti English attitude is a great natak by hindi protagonists who themselves send their children to english schools . Hindi can nver become like mother tongue for all in india especially south .

TamilNadu is a state that prays in SANSKRIT!
Tamil Nadu is the heart and soul of entire India. It is the land of the enlightened. It the land where humanity finds it's true meaning. Tamils are the descendants of the original people of India. Tamils are the ones who are the custodians of the True Hindooism which believes in the universality of mankind and the right the choose one's own path to reach the final destination. Our history and literature date back to at least 2500 years and unlike the synthetic language like Sanskrit, is the original language of Indians.This is not to say, Kannada, Telugu or Malayalam are any less. They are all the languages of my great grand-mothers.
When south India pray in Sanskrit, whats the problem with speaking in Hindi? After all Hindi is derived from Sanskrit!

1st language=mother language
2nd language=English
3rd language=no need compulsory.
Ban Bollywood like Manipur has done. 1 language mother tongue 2 language English 3 language : Any Indian or foreign language other than Hindi or Urdu and this will be optional.
1st- mother tongue
2nd - hindi then
3rd - either indian or foreign
But before this we should make our languages job oriented.
