@HomeRapidRepair what if you dont have a circular saw. Never used one...they scare me lol...any other way to cut the shiplap?

It’s like any wood project. So a saw 🪚 could work. If you don’t like the idea of holding a circular saw, just borrow or rent a chop saw. They sit on a flat surface and very stable, you can go slow and take your time.
