I have a 2001 Montero Sport and I replaced fuel pump and fuel filter but still with a hard start... You think the realay can be the issue?? Thanks in advance
When the fuel pump relay fails, you may notice one of several dashboard lights come on that detect where the problem occurred. For instance, since the fuel pressure sensor can detect when the fuel system isn't operating or generating pressure to propel fuel to the engine.
50% of the time fuel pump will not prime prior to starting causing non start. Can take several tries turning key on/off before I hear the pump priming. Intermittent fault. Would this be a relay or sign of pump on the way out? Thanks.
The erratic zooming in and out is super obnoxious.
would spraying the relay with CRC Freeze-Off Super Penetrant be a good test
