      One question, early on you had Alpinestars suit and last year looks like you switch to a Sparco. Any reason for the change or fit? I’m 6’2ish with a long torso and can’t find anything to fit right. Last one I ordered was the Sparco ks3 in large (barley too small) and then XL (felt like a wing suit). Had to send both back and can’t seem to get the right fit.
      Thanks hope to see you up in the northwestern area this year!

    • @RyanS66
      @RyanS66 5 лет назад +1

      Rob Carter Most suits use Euro sizes w, (140,150,160,44,46,48, etc.), which seem to be a little more precise than small, medium, large. Try seeing if one of those sizes fit you better

    • @robcarter6558

      Ryan Shehan thanks I just got mime in a size 54. It’s a little tight but way better that the basic sizes. Thanks for the tip!

    Great vídeo. I have never raced a shifter kart before, not even a common 2 stroke model. I have a 21 HP 4 stroke kart maybe about 3 or 4 seconds slower than yours. Hopefully I can upgrade to a Parilla 175 cc, 49 HP shifter next year, let''s see. Keep the good work and sharing your videos. Best wishes from Brazil

    Lowering the front tire pressure really helps the kart rotate more mid corner. Last I was out we ran 10 psi front and rear. We're going to try 9 psi in the front. Tire pressure is essentially the spring rate adjustment on karts.

    We enjoy your videos and travels, really do, but... early in this video I was taken back at the amount of hammering done on your racing machine. And that is what it is, a racing machine that needs to be wrenched on with finesse and little if any brute force. That is why bearings are in cassettes etc. Later on when your chain popped and ya blew up your brake rotor I was sadly not too surprised. Little dings and nicks on mating surfaces can bite a person in the arse way to easy. FWIW, I install a set of two piece collars on the outside of the rear axle bearings for extra lateral support to avoid axle creep, even with 206 karts. Blessings and safety and I too look forward to part two.
