    This is the obligatory comment that this episode (2.9) actually aired on Latvian Independence Day (Which was the parade in the blanket fort), November 18, 2010
    I highly recommend reacting to the Sci-Fi original series, Farscape.

    "Who is fat Neil?" Make sure not to skip "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" to find out. Most streaming services took that episode out of circulation.
    Fun fact about conspiracy episode: Dan Harmon took the prop gun scene to the network censor and the censor asked "Can we make this about gun safety?" That's how we got the police officer added to the scene.

    The guy flirting with Abed reminds me of when a straight guy is talking to a woman, and it happens to come up that she's not available, and he's like, "Why did you let me waste my time and talk to you, then?" Like we aren't people who might have interesting things to say.

    • @dlweiss
      @dlweiss Месяц назад +3

      To be fair, in this specific case the guy only got mad after he'd been VERY clearly flirting with Abed for a while (openly suggesting they go somewhere private, etc), and Abed hadn't ever said anything to indicate he wasn't interested in that way.

    A Seven and Seven/7&7 is a highball cocktail containing Seagram's Seven Crown (a blended whiskey) and 7-Up (a lemon-lime soft drink). It is typically served with ice. It was one of the most popular drinks in the United States during the 1970s.

    27:15 "Who the hell has an existential crisis at 19" Hilariously, that's how old I was when I had a proper existential crisis that completely changed me. Farscape is good. It's very different. But seeing it does nothing to enhance this episode.
    Coming up very soon though is something VERY DIFFERENT for Community. Hell, it's very different period!!! But, I can say no more. Being familiar with the source material makes it even better, but it's still great, regardless.
    Also, the dean freaking out and screaming that he didn't understand what was happening during the shooting scene😂😂😂
    Because I felt like I was the dean in that moment...I'm SO CONFUSSSED!!
    Finally a 7 and 7 is Seagram's 7 (which is a Canadian whiskey) and 7 UP (aka ginger ale) Jeff would certainly dismiss this drink, which he quickly does..... Because 1) he appears to drink his whiskey straight (no mixer) 2) Being a guy who fancies himself refined, Jeff likely only drinks Irish whiskey, not Canadian 😆
