20 year Wisconsin plumber: iso drawing is a language all its own and vital to the trades. I was a forman for a certain job and in a progress meeting with a room full of engineers, they couldn't understand what I was trying to communicate until I went to the greaseboard and free handed am iso and everybody went ahh.
I have been 2 D drafting for years. My local municipal Health Department now requires more plumbing detail on Restaurant floor plans. I needed to find this video. I appreciate the clear explanation. Now the light bulb is turned on !!
My Pipe-Wrenching brother from another mother: love this video! I love your passion and enthusiasm for plumbing! This work, to me, is enjoyable. I love the work and try to continue to learn, not just code, but technique. If you love your job, you never work a day in your life, and, at least from the videos, id venture to say that describes you. Again, great video and very useful! There aren't many showing the nitty gritty of this job on the web. It's not just pretty leadwork, screw joints, etc but layout that really makes a good plumber. stand out.
Okay I appreciate the video but I don't understand. Two things I noticed I've been practicing drawing sanitary isometrics. They don't have 45° angles in them only 30 60 or 90° also they're not to scale so I don't understand why you're counting the dots to represent inches? I'm very curious I would appreciate a response thank you in advance
Thanks for the upload Rodger! Love to learn more from you each and every day, cheers 👌
My pleasure! More to come
This is what I was looking for. Awesome explanation!
Glad it was helpful!
