I spent today 200ft up on a Scottish building site in the damp and cold, the wind felt like it would cut me in half. The only thing that gets me out of bed in these kind of days is the dream of sitting right there on a balcony in Thailand. Hope you feel better soon, don’t be sad about being down from time to time. Especially when your cut and bruised with pain. Never forget you are living the dream thousands of us wish we had. Thanks for the videos, hopefully I get to meet you one day for a good chinwag

Though I love Thailand I can't see myself living there. I visit twice a year for a month each time and personally the party life gets kinda old after a couple of weeks. Go out drink, hang out with bar girls wake up with a stranger rinse and repeat. In the daytime wander around town like a lost cause and again, rinse and repeat. If you don't find a hobby or, and a proper spouse Thailand can be brutal.
Its the boredom. Very self destructive in a crazy place like pattaya. Need to have some kind of discipline and do other stuff besides women and beer. Its easy to spot alot of western men have succumbed to the madness and developed serious mental health issues
Appreciate your honesty Webby! Take extra care when riding around! My mate from Swansea died out there in a motorbike accident 2 years ago! I think seeing your daughter will hopefully really cheer u up!x
Tourists will never believe this but Pattaya can be a very lonley place. All your family are in your home town so are your real friends. Sure you have drinking buddies and short term girlfriends but it's all very shallow. I suffered the same loneliness and sense of isolation when I lived there a few years ago
This is my first time watching webby. I think you will feel much better by Lowering your expectations! I get most bummed out when things don't turn out the way I thought or wanted them to. Here in Pattaya...I have zero control! I just have to roll with the punches as they say. My advice to you based upon what you said is a couple of things: Lay off on the drinking! That can absolutely destroy you here in Pattaya! I'm lucky there as I'm a full blown alcoholic who has recovered from that sick disease and have enjoyed continuous sobriety now for 6 1/2 years. I also put together 6 of those years before I moved here. Now a real important one: Do Not Take These Girls Too Seriously...because they are NOT taking You seriously! Another tip is: Whenever you get on a motor-scooter-Wear A Helmut! Good Luck Brother!
So sorry to hear about your crash. I understand how it has made you feel and when away from family and friends always a bit harder to deal with. I love Pattaya and you know even at home you can have up and down days. The beauty for you is that you are in paradise. As you say Eat well, don't drink excessively but also mate add in some excercise for good mental health. Keep well and keep smiling
I’m so sorry Webby to hear about your terrible accident. Look after yourself and I really hope you will make a speedy recovery ❤️🩹. Focus on your channel Mate I think you’re doing absolutely a great job. Stay away from the bars every day. I been here for 2 weeks already and is very toxic and addictive environment. Pattaya is a wonderful place but I totally understand what you mean..! You get up and downs but pretty much like everywhere else. I rather be here than bloody freezing 🥶 and boring England 🏴. Love your Videos Webby. Get well soon Mate 🙏🙏🙏
The warm heat will be from clogged filters in the air con units inside your condo. They get clogged up with dust. They are located behind a lid on the front of the units. Give them a rinse and time to dry and you'll be sorted. Loving the honesty of your channel. Keep it up mate
Good times in Pattaya a few years back! I have just discovered your channel and your content is some of the best. You are a very honest and courageous man don’t forget that. This too will pass. I speak from experience. Keep up the good work! 😎
Sorry to hear about the bump Webby, thanks for sharing some of your vulnerable side here buddy. It's fascinating to see the highs and lows of life over there.
Pattaya is a real lonely place in the world if you have no partner to tell you to stop boozing and partying. I have been here for 4 years and love it. My family visit me here. Remember alcohol is a depressent. Go gym, walks if u dont like the gym, walking football on sundays for over 50s, padel tennis in pratumnak, driving range just over sukhumvit, sauna, theres loads to do mate just stay off the piss and you will feel tons better. Find a nice local bird who wants to go temple rather than LK metro or Ibar. Otherwise you will not last brother.
Hope you feel better soon! It maybe worth a good think about getting away from Pattaya. It is like moving to USA to live and choosing vegas. It will get ya in the end. Udon Thani, Khon Kaen still have the night life but a bit more chilled. That’s a lot of money you spend too! I spend that in the UK! If the Thai’s can live on vastly less so can we. Don’t burn out! Deep breath, nice beer and get back on track buddy! Best wishes.
I had a friend who live out there for 6 month at the time. .he had many friends , most of whom came back ..he also eventually stopped going. .he called it fools paradise
Gotta remember, "Paradise is a state of mind". If you're not right mentally, doesn't matter where you are, depression and anxiety can easily kick in. Also remember, alcohol is a poison, definitely needs to be done in moderation, else it'll fuck you up, physically, mentally and financially. Take care.
You are so right about alcohol being "poison". I think all beer, wine & spirit bottles should have the scary "skull and cross-bones" logo prominently featured.
Just found your channel mate , subbed. I am starting my expat life this year, see you in a few months , take care and chin up brother. If you haven’t yet, go to Chiang Mai mate for a cruise and a relax, it’s a better vibe.
I've started to go back to the UK every 2 months for 3 weeks.lived here 23 years .hard work travelling but nice to get away and I look forward to coming back
Hiya Webby ,sorry to hear about your accident mate. You are W W W. Wild Wicked and Welsh.Head up and enjoy. We are out in Hua Hin at the end of March. We are popping over to Pattaya for a night or two give you a buzz then.
I hear you. I’ve only ever done 10days at a time in Pattaya, and by day 8, I’m already bored to shit & itching to get back home. 10days is more than enough for me
Bad luck on your accident don’t worry about feeling down everyone does now and again . Keep producing the honest no holds barred content it’s what makes you different and will help build your channel with people who will stay loyal to you . Remember it’s good to talk .
Always a good idea when it gets too much in Pattaya to head off for a few days - when you get better. Try one of the islands to the east - Koh Samet, Chang or Kut. Do some snorkelling or wildlife trails. Thai islands are amazing
If you haven't already been to cebu in the Philippines. Go there you won't be lonely. You can stay 3 years on a tourist visa. This is my 6th trip to pattaya in 18 months I have a flight booked for 8 weeks in March / April but I'm definitely not coming back. You can meet ladies in the Philippines who's first words aren't 2000 Bhat. Try it.
This is why i would never live in a holiday town again, you get bored of the place, keep Pattaya for living it large for a few weeks but live somewhere else,i lived in chaweng on samui for three years and ended up hating the place
just subscribed, well played for speaking out when u feel low, we all get it too, sounds like a cracking idea to meet up with subscribers to give you some more quality social life. Ive travelled on my own sometimes and it can be tough , u sometimes wish your best mates were with you, keep talking and Ill keep watching mate, your not alone, stay in the game things always get better :)
Keep your head up Steve there’s always ups and downs in life we just have to roll with them.Remember your not just living your life in paradise but living a small part of ours for us.Keep up the good work
Great to see you today in Kungs this morning mate. I agree with your points here but I do think its good to get back to Europe for a break so you can then miss living in Thailand and plan on returning✌️. I am here 6 weeks now and I do find it has got more expensive compared to other years. Hope you heal up soon. Your girl is a stunner btw today👊 Damien from Cork City.
10:07 Glad to see you are ok after the motorbike accident could of been worse remember any day above ground is a bonus I love that chang beer shirt is it a soccer strip mate ? also your monthly budget is nice your lucky you don't have to pay for having your girlfriend like most expats that have a Thai girl live with them most want something if they want to have their parents take care of their child your a legend mate take care thank you for your honesty ❤😊 God 🙏 Bless you and the missus
but Thailand is not just fun town ,there are other places to go to ,visit ,explore ,even settle down and live like I have these past 22 years . I live in Sa Kaeo ,a province in the east bordering Cambodia . Thailand is the most dangerous place on earth to be on the road ,preferable mode of transport would be a Sherman tank . Drinking ,well you need discipline ,not easy but my rule is never before sun down and I keep it to 2 bottles ,the bigger ones ,a night Word of warning ,not the best place to get into trouble ,whether broke or what ever ,so keep yourself lucid ,in control *2 bottles of beer that is ,not the hard stuff
Stay strong webby, you had a bad accident and get well soon, mentally and physically , anything you are going through at the moment will pass, just enjoy your life and take every day as a blessing. Your Daughter will be over soon which will help, You are better off staying in Thailand, I admire you for staying out the bars, good luck with your relationship and I hope to see you back to your bright and cheery self shortly.
Sorry to hear about your recent misfortune. Hope you are on the mend quickly. I got very ill a couple of years ago, right in the middle of Covid. I ended up in hospital for weeks on end and it got pretty touch-and-go as to whether I was going to make it. I didn't have anyone around me and I spent a lot of time just laying there in pain and feeling pretty sorry for myself. Some good did come of this though as months later I realised that things could definitely be worse, that I could put up with occassional bleak period and the bad times don't last forever. You'll get through this and be better for it.
Hey... I saw you organising someone onto the next bus beside mine on the 29th Dec as I was heading to Survanabhumi... I have a place there maybe 1km walk from where you stay but fly in and out a few times a year... Depression isnt good but expected pretty much in any tourist place I think...people come and go in these places and the transient nature means a big lack of a stable social world alongside an expensive international social world.... The best solution is likely having a very stable local community of which it might be difficult to find especially in tourist areas... Hope you get the positivity back... Social is important but without alcohol as the key...
Hi mate, get well soon ! It is normal to get ups and downs in life wherever you are. But, it is not normal to drag it too long as it could become habitual. Please change your thoughts and change your destiny by meditating and positive thinking and you will surely see immediate results. By the way, your accent reminds me of my good days in the Poly of Wales at Treforest in Pontipridd. Keep strong brother 💪 Cheers ✌️✌️🇴🇲
I traveled a lot in my life and it was great but in the end we all want a compatible partner to share our life and experiences with. Having good times is fun and i also had my very wild episode in Thailand 😅 BUT in the end i was suprised i wanted to go back to have a Stable genuine relationship to Enjoy life together. Thank you for keeping it real 👌
O mate, sorry to hear bout you bump, get well soon, i managed to lose my phone and bank cards while on a 2 day bender this weekend in LK Metro, Sunday was a pretty low point for me so feel your pain, (somehow got the phone and cards back). Look after yourself, good gym in Pratumnak that keeps my mind focused... you thought about that?
Webby.....that is the best video you've done..true and honest...i hope your mood improves over the next few days. Good days ..bad days all part of life living in Thailand..🙏🙏🙏😀
Mai pen rai krub. I've been living off Soi Buakhao for the last 13 weeks. There certainly are highs and lows, Christmas was tough but New Years was awesome. Such is life. Hope to chat with you soon. All the best mate. 😉
Great channel, tells the truth which is rare for most RUclips channels, I’ll be out there again soon and would love to buy you a coffee, and have a chat, bet you could tell some great stories, keep up the great work pal .
Just subscribed, so got a backlog to watch. Take care mate, its cold and wet here in Blighty, so I'm looking forward to returning to Thailand later this year! Do not forget, you are living the life for all of your followers!😊
I’ve been here since September…you jus got a roll with it…don’t think to hard & respect your time. Everything’s fine jus take everything with a pinch of salt…life’s great here if you’re strong enough. Best of luck mate ..hope to see you around & get you a Bacon Sarnie & a mug of tea..take it easy…jus be careful out there..!! 👍
Sorry to hear about your motorbike accident Webby. It could've been alot worse. I'd never have a motorbike myself, as I've seen it go wrong too many times. I'm back out for a month in March. Id be more than happy to meet up.
Hey 😊 I love how you are just honest 😊 well done for showing you are a amazing person 😊 I don’t know you personally but, everyone tells me my gut instinct is good. And, sir you from the very start since watching you have so much heart and beautiful soul. You will get better soon. Really not to long ago you where very sick and had to fly back to the uk ! Now you are in a different situation. Always love ❤️
I felt really down during the lockdowns, questioned myself etc. Living didnt make sense. I was thinking i have had all the pleasures in life, from this age (40) i will repeat what i did thats all. Now i can travel again, at least it is giving me some excitement. Especially Pattaya... hope you recover speedy...
Hi mate..spoke to you before...I came out in October 10th for a year but came home to Scotland end November as it just got too repetitive and sometimes as you say lonely..so get what your saying...rented a nice condo on soi 15 n was lovely....but cdnt hack it. Donnie.from glasgow
Ok welshboy. Let me sort you out. first thing. Get out that condo. And rent a house over on the dark side. It will be like living in the Valleys. Only With sun.sit in the garden mow the lawn.dig a pond. I started in a condo. But a house gives you so much more to do. Been here 5 years now. And love it.
Enjoyed your honesty Webby; the ups and downs of life wherever you are…….i think once you get the air conditioning fixed you will feel so much better 👍
Pattaya a great holiday but an awful place to live on your own . Too much temptation both beer and women . It's hard to be inside when the party is outside and if you like a party . I've been here nearly 2 months but I'm lucky to live in a busy area north of Bangkok . Bangkok is close enough if I want to go but far enough that it's an effort .
But what you do as an alternative? Watch Thai TV every night? Make friends with your neighbours - only you're not fluent in Thai, and even if you were, your respective cultures and upbringing are so different to mean there is little common ground between you... Genuine question, not a pisstake reply.
@michael-lt2lf I have a Thai GF who owns her own market shop . I help her open shop and close the shop , in-between 3 afternoons a week I have a Thai tutor helping me to learn Thai . I am also teaching myself guitar off you tube . Spend time fixing the house to be more western . My days are pretty full tbh but it helps having a steady relationship.
Stay strong mate wherever you go in the world you bump into yourself. Meaning happiness comes from within no bullshit I'm someone who's suffered depression. Pick yourself up Webby dust yourself off and look to things that make you happy, and distance yourself from things that don't. Best wishes 👍🏼🏴🙏
Good advice concerning motorbikes. I rarely use them. I'm in Bangkok and I usually walk, take the sky train or subway. That also allows me to avoid the irritation of traffic jams.
I live in a quiet area of Pattaya. Get to know locals in nearby shops. I have 6 young Thai ladies looking out for me, caring for me, bringing gifts, helping around my sea view condo. I never feel alone. My usual date for last 4+ years is a cute Thai lady, age 31. I'm 82. My daughter (and some friends) visit for 6 weeks every year from USA. They love it here.
Cwmbran boy here webby 👍. You have to travel more mate, thailand has so much to see. I'm over in 6 weeks for a month here's my travel plan. 5 nights pattaya, 7 nights Krabi, 2 night's koh lanta, back to pattaya for 3 nights then down to koh kood for 10 nights, then back to pattaya for last 2 night's. I used to stay in pattaya for the whole holiday, Not good. Would be good to see you when I'm over. Keep your chin up taff
I use to use motorcycles in Thailand I had an accident I started use ing bauht buses. A man I know wasn’t so lucky he was working in chaing Mia selling property he had an accident minor then got in another motorcycle accident now is confined to a wheelchair. You are not on holiday your living there so honestly stop binge drinking find something that makes you happy even volunteering work for the community
I retrospect a lot and relive all of my life memories. While in the memories I ask myself do I have any regrets. And honestly there's always going to be regrets in life... But memories with my wife and family I have far fewer regrets.
Reminds me the cost to emigrate to Australia from Britain in the 60's was ₤5 and ₤500 to return. And tickets to Canada had two outbound and one return legs. Home is where the heart is. Stay well
The roads look terrifying out there man. Motorbikes are pretty dangerous anyway but the roads out there look mad. The biggest problem is you don't know what the other driver will do next, even if you assume they're all out to kill you! Lay up for a day or 2, have a break and enjoy your retirement. This is what it's about mate. Your dream to live in this crazy town in the tropics and be happy. I'm living my dream life and everyone should. I'll see you in the next video, best Pattaya content.
I have a bicycle I store in my condo - but I keep to certain roads, where I feel safer. On others I can ride on the pavement - e.g. Thepprasit or Sukhumvit. But you can't do that with a motorcycle, even though you're just as vulnerable to 2 tonnes of steel whizzing by. The only place I might contemplate owning a motorcycle would be out in the provinces, where walking, cycling, public transport or Bolt aren't options. One vlogger goes about on his high powered e-bike at 25mph+ on roads like Thappraya: much too dangerous in my view.
Your all good webby ,u just coming out of the shock mode, your never alone!!! Yes you have good days and the bad days, its great you have family popping out to you to. Thailand is the place to be, England is getting worse and worse,I can’t wait to get out to. Keep cool enjoy life🎉
I was thinking about a scooter this time but my missus and kids said no way should I do it , so we havnt , on Koh Samet now and it would have been good over here but we’ll just use the Bhat bus and bolt that does us fine 👍
Only started following you recently Webby. Coming to Pattaya for the first time later in the year, would be great to meet up for a beer. Few months back I started feeling no motivation to do anything or go anywhere. Anyway I joined the gym and honestly I find it just clears your head, plus I can now get in my T-shirts without looking like a buddah 😂
There will always be ups and downs, living in Pattaya is so different from holidaying but as you say it's the place you want to be and the highs way outweigh the lows.Have fun.Cheers
The winters here in the UK go on for ages and then more rain as the temperature slowly rises. I'm 60 this month and am feeling the cold a whole lot more. I want to be somewhere warm not paying inflated prices for keeping me alive!!
@@welshboywebby Kids & grandkids mate, I'm turning into a grumpy auld man :) I have a few cars in resto atm so maybe a few years yet, I don't think I'd pick Pattaya, looks as if a mandate for the masses :)
Hi bud I feel for you, I had a bike crash in the uk. Hit the side of a tipper truck on a corner, got away with broken fingers and wrist. Would not be here if I slid under the truck instead of the bike getting entangled and went the direction the truck was going and I carried on in the direction I was going just not on the bike anymore. Full gear saved me from head and shoulder injuries. I fully understand how hot and uncomfortable it would be wearing full gear in Thailand. I also suffer from depression that’s why I ride, it’s the only time I’m not feeling like crap. Get back on the horse even if you do it once just to prove you can do it. I visited Pattaya in October and I loved it , went to a few places but got side tracked by those grabby bar girls and beer. Next time I hope to see more and would love to retire there, even with my savings and the pension I would get from work I would still need to survive until state pension which is another 5 years away. I am so tempted to say feck it and give it a go I have 60,000 in savings but how long would that last? Just remember what you said , a bad day in Thailand is way better than a bad day over here. Hoping to visit again to experience soncram in April . Stay safe and I hope all works out for you.
I don't understand people who say there lonely in thailand if we or u are back in uk 9 times out of ten we never see family as they are busy and most people only go out 1 or 2 times a week so work it out😢
You will be fine webby.bound to be a bit down after the accident.no matter where we live it can be lonely at times .and as a free spirit it can be hard especially when people like to party and try to live what some people call a normal life can be tough. You will be grand and will bounce back in no time .and hopefully see you over there this year.
As someone who moved to Asia 7 years ago, its an amazing place and such a fantastic way of life. Just dont make it all about chasing women and drinking beer. There is SO MUCH MORE. However so many men just end up doing that. Imho its not the way to go.
Hello forst time ive seen you on RUclips as a frequently visited londoner to pattaya & all surrounding areas for 24 years have mates live in a lot of areas of thailand staying in pattaya u dont need a bike i use to use all the time and had a few near misses use tuk tuk it aint worth the falls scraps ect go and visit more places especially the islands clear your head stay out the bars there are plenty more things to do yes i get bored but rather bored there than here kanchanaburi is one of my fav places im back out mid may so hopefully see how ya going stay safe keep the chin up
I don't really know what to say but I feel like that from time to time but I live in the UK and I do the same thing every day and I don't really have any friends to go out with and have fun so I decided to go on holiday to Thailand and if I make friends I might stay out there people don't talk to each other in the UK I've started to watch you and you are a honest great guy and great people always suffer be strong take care dude

My very general advice:
1. Bars maximum twice a week.
2. Subscriber meetup: Do lunch or coffee. Too easy to turn into 10 beers.
3. Gym or walk 2x a week.
4. Expand your channel topics.
5. Maybe change apartments for a fresh start, if feasible.
6. Do 200-300b days, or at least one day with no spending per week. Don't overcompensate the next day though.
Good advice 👌🏻
I like your idea of low budget days. I have some health issues so I can't eat street food and do 200 baht days but I could do 500 baht days.

I am starting my expat life this year, see you in a few months , take care and chin up brother.
If you haven’t yet, go to Chiang Mai mate for a cruise and a relax, it’s a better vibe.
I've started to go back to the UK every 2 months for 3 weeks.lived here 23 years .hard work travelling but nice to get away and I look forward to coming back
Huge cost doing that,
thanks for sharing your story. i am sure things will turn around for the better. good luck to you
Hiya Webby ,sorry to hear about your accident mate. You are W W W. Wild Wicked and Welsh.Head up and enjoy.
We are out in Hua Hin at the end of March. We are popping over to Pattaya for a night or two give you a buzz then.
great vids webby, love how honest you are. We will be in Pattaya 13th April hopefully we can meet up with you
Sounds great!
I hear you. I’ve only ever done 10days at a time in Pattaya, and by day 8, I’m already bored to shit & itching to get back home. 10days is more than enough for me
It can be like that
Bad luck on your accident don’t worry about feeling down everyone does now and again .
Mon- Fri : gym, cook, read, study, five - a - side.
Sat- Sun : that’s another story
If you haven't already been to cebu in the Philippines. Go there you won't be lonely. You can stay 3 years on a tourist visa. This is my 6th trip to pattaya in 18 months I have a flight booked for 8 weeks in March / April but I'm definitely not coming back. You can meet ladies in the Philippines who's first words aren't 2000 Bhat. Try it.
This is why i would never live in a holiday town again, you get bored of the place, keep Pattaya for living it large for a few weeks but live somewhere else,i lived in chaweng on samui for three years and ended up hating the place
Thanks for sharing
best area on Koh Samui to live longterm?
just subscribed, well played for speaking out when u feel low, we all get it too, sounds like a cracking idea to meet up with subscribers to give you some more quality social life. Ive travelled on my own sometimes and it can be tough , u sometimes wish your best mates were with you, keep talking and Ill keep watching mate, your not alone, stay in the game things always get better :)
Keep your head up Steve there’s always ups and downs in life we just have to roll with them.Remember your not just living your life in paradise but living a small part of ours for us.Keep up the good work
My goodness! Those drinks from the Happy Holiday friends are certainly mounting up....
Your girl is a stunner btw today👊
Damien from Cork City.
Been there kid, when I got down couldn't work out why, missing my family suppose and never do bikes my unwritten rule..
but Thailand is not just fun town ,there are other places to go to ,visit ,explore ,even settle down and live like I have these past 22 years . I live in Sa Kaeo ,a province in the east bordering Cambodia . Thailand is the most dangerous place on earth to be on the road ,preferable mode of transport would be a Sherman tank . Drinking ,well you need discipline ,not easy but my rule is never before sun down and I keep it to 2 bottles ,the bigger ones ,a night
Word of warning ,not the best place to get into trouble ,whether broke or what ever ,so keep yourself lucid ,in control
*2 bottles of beer that is ,not the hard stuff
I'm OK cheers
Love your videos, very honest as always!
Cheers 🍻
Respect for telling it like it is. The fantasy of living here turns into a nightmare for far too many men.

Cheers
I traveled a lot in my life and it was great but in the end we all want a compatible partner to share our life and experiences with.
Having good times is fun and i also had my very wild episode in Thailand 😅
BUT in the end i was suprised i wanted to go back to have a Stable genuine relationship to Enjoy life together.
Thank you for keeping it real 👌
if you can find a good woman they like gold dust - saying that I enjoy cruising too with a woman this is great
O mate, sorry to hear bout you bump, get well soon, i managed to lose my phone and bank cards while on a 2 day bender this weekend in LK Metro, Sunday was a pretty low point for me so feel your pain, (somehow got the phone and cards back).

No problem mate
Sorry to hear about your motorbike accident Webby. It could've been alot worse.
I'd never have a motorbike myself, as I've seen it go wrong too many times.
I'm back out for a month in March. Id be more than happy to meet up.
I live in Pattaya on about 2200 USD a month. It can be done but you have to watch your spending.
Youre a good guy Webby, wish you all the best and quick recovery mate.
Cheers 🍻
Hope u heel up quickly mate
Best wishes
What part of Wales are you from.
Bridgend mate
Nice 👍 one. I'm from Swansea
Got ask had you been consuming alcohol before the motorcycle crash?
Don't ask lol
Enjoyed your honesty Webby; the ups and downs of life wherever you are…….i think once you get the air conditioning fixed you will feel so much better 👍
Thanks 👍
Pattaya a great holiday but an awful place to live on your own . Too much temptation both beer and women . It's hard to be inside when the party is outside and if you like a party . I've been here nearly 2 months but I'm lucky to live in a busy area north of Bangkok . Bangkok is close enough if I want to go but far enough that it's an effort .
Tell me about it
But what you do as an alternative?
I'll be heading for my 7th trip to Pattaya in March. Its a great place, literally heaven. Thanks for the videos sir... much appreciated from Ireland
No problem
When you are down just chill go to the shopping centre have a coffee remember you are lucky you are in thailand
Please stop using motorbikes Thailand is the most dangerous place in the world to do so. Baht buses, Bolt or walking can do almost everything.
I'm OK
Im ok? look at yamate uin freefall
You seen the stats on pissed up taxi and minibus drivers, they’re no safer than bikes, all I would say is don’t drive drunk or at night
Good stuff
How is it that an Aircon isn't working in a brand new apartment that no one lived in before for which you already paid 6 months upfront?
I said the same thing to the engineer today he said just one of those things
Cwmbran boy here webby 👍.
You have to travel more mate, thailand has so much to see.
I'm over in 6 weeks for a month here's my travel plan.
5 nights pattaya, 7 nights Krabi, 2 night's koh lanta, back to pattaya for 3 nights then down to koh kood for 10 nights, then back to pattaya for last 2 night's.
I used to stay in pattaya for the whole holiday,
Not good.
Would be good to see you when I'm over.
Keep your chin up taff
I’m over on 29th Jan - feb 29th Caerphilly here 👍🏻
I use to use motorcycles in Thailand I had an accident I started use ing bauht buses. A man I know wasn’t so lucky he was working in chaing Mia selling property he had an accident minor then got in another motorcycle accident now is confined to a wheelchair. You are not on holiday your living there so honestly stop binge drinking find something that makes you happy even volunteering work for the community
What happens when the money runs out?
Why would it run out please please respond to my question have you seen my bank account
@@welshboywebby not saying it will happen to you, but it happens to plenty of people. What do they do then?
Keep your chin up Webby , im out there in Jomtien in Feb , love to meet up with you for a chat or a coffee or something .
Sounds good!
Really appreciate the hohnest vieo Webby! Just subscribed!
I retrospect a lot and relive all of my life memories. While in the memories I ask myself do I have any regrets. And honestly there's always going to be regrets in life... But memories with my wife and family I have far fewer regrets.
Agree
Keep cool enjoy life🎉
I appreciate that
I was thinking about a scooter this time but my missus and kids said no way should I do it , so we havnt , on Koh Samet now and it would have been good over here but we’ll just use the Bhat bus and bolt that does us fine 👍
Sir stay strong. When you wake up in pain you are still alive. Dead men feel no pain. Life is full of ups and downs.
Cheers and true
Only started following you recently Webby. Coming to Pattaya for the first time later in the year, would be great to meet up for a beer. Few months back I started feeling no motivation to do anything or go anywhere. Anyway I joined the gym and honestly I find it just clears your head, plus I can now get in my T-shirts without looking like a buddah 😂
Haha defo meet for a beer
keep smiling webbo you are still standing mate, and god bless you mate xx
There will always be ups and downs, living in Pattaya is so different from holidaying but as you say it's the place you want to be and the highs way outweigh the lows.Have fun.Cheers
The winters here in the UK go on for ages and then more rain as the temperature slowly rises. I'm 60 this month and am feeling the cold a whole lot more. I want to be somewhere warm not paying inflated prices for keeping me alive!!
Get over here then mate, what you got to lose
@@welshboywebby Kids & grandkids mate, I'm turning into a grumpy auld man :) I have a few cars in resto atm so maybe a few years yet, I don't think I'd pick Pattaya, looks as if a mandate for the masses :)
Jomtien is a cool place to live
Hi webby, I’ve just come across you tonight and love your honesty etc. your the sort of guy I’d love to have a pint with.
Welcome aboard!
Get well buddy. Take it easy. Enjoy all of your content. Wishing you well.
Stay safe and I hope all works out for you.
you need some sort of income as well maybe rent your house or somthing
Bless you mate ..depression sucks man ..hope you feel better soon
I'm OK mate, and thank you
I get sad, lonely and depressed after only 2 weeks in Pattaya. I'm glad I get to go back home.
Hahah I use to hate going home after one day I was gagging to get back to Pattaya
Gotta take the rough with the smooth mate, we all feel down and lonely sometimes, perfectly normal 👍
I don't understand people who say there lonely in thailand if we or u are back in uk 9 times out of ten we never see family as they are busy and most people only go out 1 or 2 times a week so work it out😢
Mate it is a entertainment video, I love Thailand every day is adventure
As a Maesteg guy to another chinn up mate hope you feel better soon take care
You will be fine webby.bound to be a bit down after the accident.no matter where we live it can be lonely at times .and as a free spirit it can be hard especially when people like to party and try to live what some people call a normal life can be tough. You will be grand and will bounce back in no time .and hopefully see you over there this year.
Omg I hope you stay safe mate.
Anybody who gets injured automatically feels down while healing. Chin up it won't last.
As someone who moved to Asia 7 years ago, its an amazing place and such a fantastic way of life. Just dont make it all about chasing women and drinking beer. There is SO MUCH MORE. However so many men just end up doing that. Imho its not the way to go.
The first 6 months that's all I did, now I'm in a different mind set and your so right
Felt same way after living in Pattaya for 10 years..now do 3 months Thailand 3 months UK..Sorted.
Can't fault it
One of the reasons why thai authorities wanted to introduce compulsory insurance for visitors.
Nui's beautiful massage on soi chaiyapoon.

I don't really know what to say but I feel like that from time to time but I live in the UK and I do the same thing every day and I don't really have any friends to go out with and have fun so I decided to go on holiday to Thailand and if I make friends I might stay out there people don't talk to each other in the UK I've started to watch you and you are a honest great guy and great people always suffer be strong take care dude
thank you for sharing
