I like the format of this! I like the full face of new things but I also think this will help your channel and it will help us find things again that we are looking for.
Okay finished the video and this was SO helpful!!! The swatches of the products together was everything! I think more B roll of the swatches on your arm could be helpful.
Yea i miss taylor wynns foundation swatches before a wear test bc then i can get a general idea about the rest of the shades in the line based off of other foundations that i do own in different shades
I love the deep dive! One thing that might be nice in future ones is about how the packaging feels (heavy, glass, plastic) and maybe if its a pump, just noting if its especially hard to pump out. I know this one is pretty straight forward and that you often will say these things, but I just wanted to note that its very appreciated when you do, and would be great to consistantly learn about. ^.^
I do like individual product reviews sometimes! Also I miss the wear tests you used to do more often! This video was very OG Kackie to me and I enjoyed it!
I LOVE this format! it makes it really easy to focus on the product and evaluate it against other things in your collection! Thank you for your hard work!!
Love your move into this new format, as I love watching these types of videos. One suggestion, perhaps discuss your skin type at the beginning of the video of new users are watching. I enjoy your videos so much!
Hi Kackie! I really enjoyed today’s video and the attention to a specific product! The Kosas BB Burst looks gorgeous on you! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! 💖 PS there is something about the track playing when you are applying the rest of your makeup that reminds me of Owl City 😂
You're really the best RUclipsr when it comes to articulating product descriptions, colors, finishes, effects, etc. If I buy anything you review, it always feels like I've already used it.
I'm glad for your thoughts on this foundation. I have oily skin, but I live in a dry climate so most foundations work for me. I believe this one wont though as it is so light coverage and it really does not look like it will hold up. I put on makeup at 6 am every weekday morning and my makeup has to last until 6 pm as I work at an office. :)
YES PLEASE 💛 on the single product videos!!! it makes searching so much easier. I used to always look for the picture of a product to possibly be in your thumbnail lol
This is a great format! And I really appreciated seeing the wear test. As a viewer, I can get swept up in what creators look like immediately after applying makeup. And I’m human, I go about my regular business (as you all do but we just never see it)-and my makeup looks different at the end of the day. That’s okay! And you looked fabulous at the end of the day too!
I ❤ this format! this is exactly the kind of content i look for when deciding to spend my $ on something new/new to me. performance is realky inportant to me, & compatibility with other products (like the fix+).
I've been watching your chanel from the early days and I am excited to see more high end makeup on your chanel again. Not that I have anything against luxury makeup, it's just not what I am personally shopping for most of the time. Totally a personal preference and not meant as a critique. 💕. Love the deep dives too.
Loved your take on it! Thanks for sharing your experience with it so far. I also have dry skin and am currently in winter and the building I work in tends to run super dry. So this was exactly what I was looking for ! ❤
Aaaahh yes!! So excited to see you focusing on deep dives. I was always going to buy the BB cream but thank you for confirming my choice 😌 Also the best Spidey intro song ever was for "spectacular spiderman"
Love the format. My Kosas foundation also leaked like that all over everything. I threw it away in celebratory fashion. As a cool pink girlie they don’t have anything for me anyway.
LOVE the deep dive, especially for foundation products (for coverage level, color, comparisons, etc). I found and fell in love with your channel a few years ago bc of your foundation reviews. Also, you just saved my combo skin $35ish dollars so thank you. Even though I’m much drier right now. I’m off to check out yummy skin reviews… Idk why, but I’m loving the Glossier rn, I think it works so nicely on my skin. But there isn’t a great shade match for me 😭 My skin is very similar to yours in shade, maybe a touch darker.
Oohhh good timing, my skin has been CRAZY dry recently and I’ve been thinking I need to switch from spot concealing to a really hydrating all over skin tint, so maybe this is the oneeee
I like this format. I definitely sometimes miss your reviews of something I wanted to know your opinion about because it’s “hidden” amongst lots of other things
While I understand that this format is search engine friendly and does make sense... I miss your spontaneous fun approach and the twists and unexpected which, in my opinion, does make your channel stand out in a gorgeous way. You're so refreshing to watch in an ocean of very comparable content creators... Only very, very few aside you I do enjoy.
I love this format! Thank you for trying this out! I’m super interested in this, but my hang up is the presence of copper peptides. I know there’s debate about using copper peptides and vitamin c at the same time in your routine.. I don’t think there’s enough of the copper peptides in the kosas to cause problems with my morning vitamin c. I still wish they would just leave the skincare out, since it’s probably not enough to be very effective 🙃
Love the deep dive! I didn't get as much value from the swatches as I'm watching on my phone. I don't know if maybe you could do swatches in a similar angle to your declutters or similar to matilda on video who does an excellent swatch so we get a close up to be able to better see the nuance in colour and texture on our small screens.
Miss this format of video! Comparisons are so necessary. In the future, would you consider flipping the camera to film almost a flatlay for the swatches? It's just really hard to see the swatches are your arm when you're so far away especially for face products ❤
Love, love, love! I have been debating buying this or the Danessa Myricks skin tint. Also how do you think this differs from the Fenty Eaze Drop stick? This was incredibly helpful. I am going with Danessa for now for the longevity and bit more coverage. Thank you! 💜
Very helpful video!! I'm super interested in this but I just worry about shelf life given that my Kosas concealer expires before I can use it up...is this going to be the same way?
Yep, copper peptide, chefs kiss on plumping and smoothing, actually the same on zinc… has fantastic moisturizing and spf and defense properties… the copper peptides made me go “WHAT?” Because that isn’t usually the cheapest of the cheap.
Kackie mentioned in this video she wasn't sure if the active ingredients could make skin more sensitive to sun - seeing as you seem quite knowledgable about these things, just wondering if you know the answer to that?
But how does it compare to the Chanel?! lol (the one in the pot) I also have very dry skin & want something actually hydrating that looks natural & not like shit by the end of the day. lol Btw, I love this format with wear tests for base products! 😄👍🏻
If this is helpful…Bel Air is the “clear” shade from Merit…their website doesn’t say anything about ph color changing in their formula. Jeté has slight pigment and is said to be “sheer neutral”. I will say the doe foot looked pretty pink when you pulled it out though 🤷🏽…Blah blah not important 😑🙏
I thought collagen in skincare or makeup products wasn't beneficial in the way most people think. The molecules are too large to absorb through the skin to give actual benefits. All collagen does when applied topically is add to the moisture. That's what I have been able to figure out, but I am not an expert and could be wrong.
Labmuffin talks about this! Yeah, it's not useless topically, but it doesn't work the same as focusing on nutrition for collagen (see: talk to the people you know with joint pain).
I know you're trying a new thing, and I honestly tried to watch (made it halfway), but foundation, complexion and skin tints are just not my thing and I'm not interested in at all (I don't wear it). Now give me swatches for bronzers or eyeshadows. I'm all over that video 😅 ❤ Love your channel, though!
I like kosas formulas, but the shade range leaves things to be desired, at least for me as a pale, cool, desaturated skin tone. I recently tried their new concealer shades, and 0.7C isn't really all that cooler than the other shades I was using of theirs.
I really enjoyed the deep dive and your face so close to the camera, very much. I'm very interested in Kosas complexion especially because their powder is the only powder I've ever used that works on my dry skin. I have the concealer, and I like it okay, but not as much as my beloved stretch concealer from Glossier. I know that if I try and hate the Kosas BB Cream, the company will happily make it right, but I also think in spite of how gorgeous this wears on you, the gel in the name makes me think it's just not for me. But that's amplified by me having a deep love for my Missha BB cream, and not really feeling that I need something new that doesn't include sunscreen. Thanks for helping me resist!!
Hold up…I was wrong…the Merit lip oil “Gelées” DO have ph changing blah di blah in them! It’s the “Classics” tinted lip oil that doesn’t 😵💫 they are all together on the same page on their website so I assumed the “what it does” info was the same…if you want clear then the shade Bel Air in the classic formula is it. 😬 here I am being a Merit beauty apologist 🫣🫤 ph 🙄
I like the format of this! I like the full face of new things but I also think this will help your channel and it will help us find things again that we are looking for.

Totally agree
Yea i miss taylor wynns foundation swatches before a wear test bc then i can get a general idea about the rest of the shades in the line based off of other foundations that i do own in different shades
Maybe if you start a new arm of swatches put another swatch of the original product on the second arm?
Kackie is so hard-working. She is spoiling us with so many new videos 😊
I like your proposal for the new format. It is so useful to have single product reviews. Great approach. Often, that is exactly what I need to find.
I do like individual product reviews sometimes! Also I miss the wear tests you used to do more often! This video was very OG Kackie to me and I enjoyed it!
I really appreciate that you don't do a review just to do it. You actually make it relevant. And believe it or not, pink gloss looks great on you!
Deep dive is fun and super valuable, especially the comparison swatches! But I also love the unhinged chaos, too🔥
Hi Kackie! I really enjoyed today’s video and the attention to a specific product! The Kosas BB Burst looks gorgeous on you! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! 💖

I was waiting to order this product just for dry skin input and color guidance! Thanks!!!
That's the BEST compliment! Thank you!!
Yes to this comment!!! Spot on!
Agreed. Kackie is definitely the best at it. ❤
I'm glad for your thoughts on this foundation. I have oily skin, but I live in a dry climate so most foundations work for me. Love the format! The product looks stunning on you! Love a more relaxed, in depth discussion snd the comparisons. Thx so much!!
I like this format! I am looking for a skin tint for my older skin. 70. This helped me a lot.
YES PLEASE 💛 on the single product videos!!! it makes searching so much easier. I used to always look for the picture of a product to possibly be in your thumbnail lol
Love the style of video! Deep dive on one thing and then maybe gives you the chance to touch back in on other things as you've used them longer too.
This is a great format! And I really appreciated seeing the wear test. As a viewer, I can get swept up in what creators look like immediately after applying makeup. Love the focus on 1 product!!
Aaaahh yes!! So excited to see you focusing on deep dives. I was always going to buy the BB cream but thank you for confirming my choice 😌
Also the best Spidey intro song ever was for "spectacular spiderman"
I thoroughly enjoyed the deep dive and look forward to watching more just like this , thank you Kackie 🌻
Seriously though this is very useful- I’m now really considering picking this up
Love the format. My Kosas foundation also leaked like that all over everything. I threw it away in celebratory fashion. As a cool pink girlie they don’t have anything for me anyway.
Love this! Totally here for the deep dives, the very detailed reviews, the color discussions and the comparison to similar products!
I was intrigued by this release but I wanted to wait for your review! So excited!
Love this video format! Love the deep dive and I really appreciate being able to really see you apply all your makeup too! 👍 thank you!
I love your deep dive! So helpful!!!
I enjoyed the deep dive! I also like your other formats too :) 🤩
I like the new direction you're taking. Very cool.
This is EXACTLY the video I have been waiting for ❤
Love this! I've been so curious about this product, so this is very helpful!
Yesss I am currently waiting for this in the mail 🙌 and love the deep dive

I think the merit lip oil looks good on you. I know it’s hard for us to see ourselves how others may, so you need to know 😊
Agree with this! I actually loved it :)
Thank you for the swatches. That is really helpful!
Oohhh good timing, my skin has been CRAZY dry recently and I’ve been thinking I need to switch from spot concealing to a really hydrating all over skin tint, so maybe this is the oneeee

I really appreciate this new format!
How does it compare to Chantecaille Future Skin? They’re both gel formulas.
They’re completely different in my opinion. The Kosas is way more thin in texture and doesn’t wear as well as the future gel.
It won't be every video don't worry
@@kackie I kinda thought so, but thank you for the confirmation! I really enjoy your work!
Hi Kackie, what do you think about Dr. Jarts BB cream? I’m.A new subscriber. Love your humor and wit. You crack me up girl!
Excited for new format!
I love this format! Thank you for trying this out! I’m super interested in this, but my hang up is the presence of copper peptides. I love this format!
Something I think would be fun is having a friend pick out some products from your stash and let your thoughts flow as you do…
LOVE the deep dive. I was tempted after your last review, but I loooooove the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin, so I'll stick with that & skip the Kosas.

I really enjoyed this review--thank you. :)
Love, love, love! I have been debating buying this or the Danessa Myricks skin tint. Also how do you think this differs from the Fenty Eaze Drop stick? This was incredibly helpful. I am going with Danessa for now for the longevity and bit more coverage. Thank you! 💜
Curious how it compares to the fenty ease stick? Isn’t that your favorite tint foundation etc?
Very helpful video!! I'm super interested in this but I just worry about shelf life given that my Kosas concealer expires before I can use it up...is this going to be the same way?
Love deep dives!
Yep, copper peptide, chefs kiss on plumping and smoothing, actually the same on zinc… has fantastic moisturizing and spf and defense properties… the copper peptides made me go “WHAT?” Because that isn’t usually the cheapest of the cheap.

Kosas with the candle 🕯️ stick! 😂😂❤❤
Love this style of video!
I don't trust Kosas though. I wish they would use better preservatives. Not that it matters there's no way I have a shade.
Ok what about kosas BB Burst or yensa BB skin on skin foundation? (I also own the yensa silk serum foundation that I love too!)
You look gorgeous in that blue!
Kosas discontinued their Tinted Face Oil which was my holy grail and I’m struggling to find a dupe for it.
Josie Maran had an exact dupe for it, so did Vapour. But Josie's has been discontinued and Vapour went out of business 😥
Not me jamming to you singing the Spidey theme song 😂
But how does it compare to the Chanel?! lol (the one in the pot) I also have very dry skin & want something actually hydrating that looks natural & not like shit by the end of the day. lol
Btw, I love this format with wear tests for base products! 😄👍🏻
The Chanel in the pot will always be the MOST hydrating MOST dewy

Can you get it at Sephora?
Yep!
@@kackie awesome!!

I know you're trying a new thing, and I honestly tried to watch (made it halfway), but foundation, complexion and skin tints are just not my thing and I'm not interested in at all (I don't wear it). Now give me swatches for bronzers or eyeshadows. I'm all over that video 😅

As a fellow former emo kid, I was thrilled to hear Fall Out Boy in my kid's show!
