A guitarist brought one of these for a session at my studio yesterday and I had never seen one before . In a soft case, very neat pedal board without the need for the cables etc much more manageable for 😅gigging musician
I've been listing to this as I work and it's stunning and beautiful. The pedal itself is beautiful too. Nice layout. I plan to use it with keys / synth.
I'm with everyone here commenting on your taste and creative choices as well as your technique in this demo. Excellent job! Kinda makes me wanna retire my Line 6 M13, TBH...
I have the Dapper MDR. Only problem with it is the reverb comes on so strong. By the time you're at 9 o'clock it's too much. Same thing with my Donner RevEcho (which sounds very similar in reverb quality, which makes me think perhaps they're using the same tech). The MDR's reverb only has one knob though, so tone and decay are fixed-in-stone on that model. I wish the MDR had a three-knob reverb with more than three options for type (like the MDR's mod section has), a three-knob delay with more than three options for type, and the mod section as it is. It's like Valeton skimps on options for some section of each of their fly-rigs, so none of them end up perfect for me. MDR is pretty close, because I just wanted reverb, dly and modulation for the end of my chain, with tap tempo. What they SHOULD have is a fly rig like the MDR, for the end of the chain, a fly-rig for OD/dist/solo-boost-and/or-comp options for the middle of the chain, and a fly-rig for eq/boost/comp/pre-OD-modulation for the front of the chain (I like to put my univibe and thick phaser sounds before my ODs). Then you buy three fly rigs and hook 'em together and you have all but wah and fuzz (which are so guitar specific they should be dealt with on a one-on-one basis).
So this pedal really does have reverb? Cause I just went looking for the demo for its reverb as I'm about to use it to play for church. So I need to know does it have reverb?
will indie guys get one pedal that is labeled indie for them, having decisions already made for them (I know you guys like fuzz and tempo delay). A standardized indie (the sound) is not indie (the spirit) at all. And if someone that just want an "indie sound" without that indie spirit, one could easily use a digital multi effects to chain up these modules and save as a preset.
I think that ease of use beats any other multi effects setup. The price point is so low that more expectations of this rig are kind of foolish. I'm going to agree with Pedal of the Day and second that it's a rad pedal.
I have the Indie Dapper. I think the drive and fuzz are analog and the modulation, delay and reverb are digital. Regardless it has very good sound quality and I like it alot.
Best demo for this pedal. It's not a "see how I play and have a look at my guitars" kind of session.
Right? Well put!

This sounds like hanging out in a Seattle record store in the 90s. Killer demo!
Thank you so much!!
Bestes Video zur Vorstellung des Dapper Indie..
Top, vielen Dank.....

Did it work with synths ? I thought the impedance is different hence would cause volume issues
@@Charlyaraya you would just turn the synth down :D its a too loud issue rather than the opposite which makes it easy to not be a problem
This multi-effect is simply sick. Gotta get it!
This is such a good thumbnail, I just gotta say that
Thank you kindly 😉
Wow what an awesome demo of an awesome pedal system thank you very much
Thanks, glad you dug it!!

Thank you so so much for the kind words!! 🙏🙏
You play like this Multi-Effect ask to be play it. It was really nice to hear you play that thing
Thank you for the kind words! ✌
Good demo. I've had GAS pains for days lol 😆 Just ordered one 😈
Great video! I’m
Getting one of those
Sounds Great 👌🏻
This unit with a preamp or a amp sim would be nice
Great review, I will definitely save it🤙🏻❤️
One question: which pedal would you approach this overdrive as sensations (RAT / Boss ds1-2 / etc)?

The Reverb on the MDR is just plain bad. Which is a shame, because the other effects are great. Kind of a waste.

Yes it has reverb.

LOLOL... But what if I use it sarcastically? Settle down, there hasn't been anything true to "the spirit" since 1992.
Is the drive and fuzz section analog?😊

Genial
Hello ! what`s a cable did you use ?
Check the description 🤘
is this thing digital or analog ? thank for the answer
mixed
Would you use this for worship music to do ambience and swells?
We don't play worship music, but you could create ambient swells with this and a Volume pedal for sure.
Is it necessary to use a power source?
Of course it is...
@@pedaloftheday Also works with batteries ???
Don't believe so...
@@genericname.33 Only with a power cable, which is provided with the pedal. No battery compartment otherwise. I own this thing and I love it!
So close to being rad. Reverb...excellent. Delay...excellent. FX...excellent. Fuzz...pure trash. Drive...average at best. Too bad
Then don't use the fuzz....it's still a rad pedal!
Try the Dapper MDR. More modulation options, similar delay and reverb options (but not exactly).
Its like $3
@@AndrewLewisHowe The reverb on the MDR sucks.
