Joe Crabtree! Those songs on your phone are Wishbone Ash Songs. Are you in a Wishbone Ash Tribute Band? They are one of my all time favorite bands - but then again I am quite an old fart. :-)
I must say that is really quite awesome!! I am a big WA fan from way back. Martin Turner is a major influence on me and I always appreciated Steve Upton's playing as well. You must be in Andy Powell's line up. which is fine, I like them both. I see you are playing at the Aladdin in Portland Oregon in March. I will make plans to attend. You'll get Andy to sign my ticket, right? :-) Have a great year!
Hi, i have to ask again, do you have any plans to have it accessible to android users in the future? Im about to start gigging this summer, it would be very usefull... Cheers!
+Vasco Lopes Hi Vasco, the short answer is that there are no plans for Android. I bought an old iPhone 4 for $50 to do some testing and versions prior to 2.2.0 will run on those. Still cheap for a metronome that does what it can do.
Got no idea how to use this. All I want is an increasing tempo and dcreasing duration as the tempo gets faster.I can do this on a daw in two seconds, this is overcomplicated.Found pro metronome in the app store and that achieves what I was looking for.Polynome is stopping me from practising, trying to work it out.Playlists ,presets ,I can make a tempo then I can't add another.I made a preset called very slow which is quarter notes at 40 bpm,now I can't make another.I also can't get back to the main page where the playlists are.Overly complicated metronome this one.Not very quick to use or practical. I also clicked the left side where it brings up the sound options, changed the snare hits to a click with a rest on the 4th bar ,saved it ,played it back but it reverted to the original sounds.AARRGGGHHHHHHHH. Using the 5 dollar pro metronome for now. That one hasn't got as many options but I understand how to use it. Looks like the original version is easier to use. I change the sounds to the left and print out 3 bars of clicks and a bar of rests, then done,it shows an exclamation mark to save,I save, then I play the preset and it plays the original sounds ,not the ones I changed.
Hi there, please excuse my ignorance but can I still use this if I already use headphone monitors to hear the band? Is there some way to integrate it? Also, what if a singer or a guitarist starts the song?
Andi Jones that's how I use it. I have a small Beringer mixer on my left (USB powered with one xlr input and phono inputs). I plug the monitor mix feed into the XLR and my iPhone into the phono. If someone else starts the song you can give them a few clicks, or gently play your hihat to give them the time. If they want to start it on their own, then the timing is on them :)
@@PolyNome Thank you very much. That's the one. Is there an advantage to using a USB powered one over a mains powered one? Sorry for all the questions but I find this a fascinating new avenue to explore. I used headphones as a monitor for our last gig for the first time and was blown away by the difference it made :D

Hi Scott,

We have plenty. Maybe I’ll see you at a show :)

+Pablo Dexter PraDeus Arango Ríos Hi Pablo, I know. Unfortunately I just don't have the time or knowledge at the moment.

@@joecrabtreedrums That's fantastic. Can you possibly let me know the model number of the Beringer as I think I have found the one you mean :)

Andi Jones it was just the cheapest, smallest one. USB is convenient as the power supply is easily replaceable.
