  • NO ONE PEES ON WATERING DAY 🚫🚽 (until now 😁)
    This is the Drain Drawer Pot and “MICHELLE10” will get you a discount.
    ➥ bit.ly/draindr...
    Features:
    ➥ Removable drawer that catches the drainage, which eliminates the need for drip trays or moving plants back and forth to the sink
    ➥Side spout allows you to bottom water your plant and avoid wet topsoil that attracts fungus gnats
    ➥Fully recyclable and made of recycled materials
    I like to sort of top and bottom water my plants simultaneously so the soil gets fully saturated, so I appreciate the ability of this pot to contain the water until you’re ready to drain it!
    Gaaaame changer!
    Where are all my pee-holding plant parents at? 🙋🏻‍♀️

    I don't know anything about plants except what I've learned from watching this channel and plantswithkrystal, but could you also use the water that collects in the drawer to water other plants, too? I know it's probably not enough to fully water another plant, but it could be added? I'm just wondering, not trying to say, "You have to reuse the water or you're wasteful" or anything. It's a legit question.

    • @ohtheplacesyoullgrow
      @ohtheplacesyoullgrow  5 месяцев назад +5

      This is a great question and I appreciate you asking. I personally don’t re-use that water because it contains all the salt and mineral buildup that ran through the soil from the first plant. Most plants will likely be okay, but I do have plants in my collection that are more sensitive to that build up, which is why I just use that water on my grass.

      I purposely don’t use the run off on other plants because I don’t want the excess salt and minerals from the soil of the first pot to go into the soil of the next pot. This is why I’m using it to water the grass.

    • @ohtheplacesyoullgrow
      @ohtheplacesyoullgrow  5 месяцев назад

      @@BogWitchJessusing drainage water that contains excess salt and minerals I don’t want to water in my subsequent plants isn’t wasteful. Especially when I’m watering the grass. 💅

    • @carlkasindi
      @carlkasindi 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@ohtheplacesyoullgrow in my opinion, explaining that in the video would be helpful. I also assumed it was wasteful. I always reuse water/nutrients that drains through pots of plants I water/feed. Maybe including that would have been overkill (I know that conciseness is necessary for youtube shorts) but I very much value information that helps me take better care of my plants. Please don't take this as sass, just putting in my two cents. Absolutely love your content btw ❤❤❤
