Your baby kitty is such a cutie and he seems like he will keep you on your toes! As always I love your projects! You got quite a good deal of progress! My heart breaks for you with your beloved cat. So sorry to hear of such a tragedy. ❤ Best wishes to you on your new place of employment. Those days off will be so good! Thanks for sharing with us! I’m so tempted to do the Treasure Island SAL too! But so much to stitch and I really need to get my stitchy bug back!

The one thing holding me back from the SAL is I already have too many projects! I might start it anyways though. Thank you for you sweet comment 😊

I’m so sorry for your loss, so hard losing a furry family member 🙏💕
Your kitten looks like he has tons of energy! I hope he lets you sleep during the day when you start your new job - congratulations!! After 15 years at your last job I can’t believe how cold they were to you when you left. Definitely confirms you made a good decision, as you said.
Your projects are SO gorgeous, I love your videos showing your progress. You could work monogamously on one project and I would still want to see your video updates!! Always so nice to see your beautiful work. Until next time, happy stitching! ☺️💕

I'm a cat mom, human mom and overnight hospital worker so I can relate. I started on nights 10 years ago and it took a while to adjust but now I love it. Ear plugs are a must for me, can sleep right through the TV playing. I tried different sleep masks and didn't like them, so now I just drape a lightweight t-shirt across my eyes and that does the trick.

Thank you for the advice! It's great to hear that you were able to adjust to over nights. Hopefully I can too

So sorry for the loss of your cat. But many congratulations on your new job - having a night time pharmacist would be a great thing for any hospital. Unfortunately I cannot really give tips on working nights, as I never got the hang of sleeping during the day; so with our random shifts in NZ, I tried to only work 2 nights in a row. Where I worked there were no permanent night shifts, so the body couldn't adjust to a night routine.
I cannot get over how huge Everflowering Garden is. I do have it in my stash, but seeing you stitch it gives me pause about starting it!!

Thank you! I'm hoping the overnights will be a good fit for me. Everflowering Garden is so large! It is beautiful and hopefully I will finish it someday 😊

Sorry to hear about Chloe. I know the feeling. They give us their unconditional love and are apart of our family unit. ~ Your new kitten has a lot of energy.
Congrats on the new job. ~ I've worked overnights in some jobs and I actually preferred them, however I don't have a family to worry about. Sleeping with headphones and a white noise machine may help.
I look forward to all your videos. Thank you for all your efforts, keep them coming when you're able ❤.

I made the September fairy and the filament was annoying but it looked good in the end. Also I’m sorry for your loss. I lost two furry friends in the last couple of years and it’s so hard.❤. And congrats about the new gig!

Congrats on the new position and getting out of retail. I worked at Walgreens my last bit of high school and through college…but in cosmetics and the front. Hope the night shift is a good fit! Your chatelaine looks gorgeous. Im doing Mirabilia May and finally going to restart September Fairy. I remember what a pain the filament was. I ended up using a needle in each hand to help get it to stop twisting. I wonder if we could pick a dmc and stitch that first, then stitch on top with blending filament just so there is more coverage. I feel like the filament would twist too much if stitched together. Can’t wait to get to stitching with you. So sorry about your kitty😢

Retail is tough for so many reasons. So happy to be done with it. The blending filament is a pain. I've been using a laying tool to help it lay nicely. Can't wait to see your progress!
