I enjoy your long videos! Can't wait to see your progress on Cassiopeia. I'm on the fence about getting her. But i agree, i think the glow feature is a plus. Don't apologize for long videos. You've got so much to show. ❤ you are a very good stitcher.
Getting to hear that train whistle at the end made me smile SO BIG! 😊 Pretty sure that was Cinderella. She's the newer and bigger of their 2 engines and they usually run her in cold weather cause Klondike Katie is a bit fussy - she also has a lower pitched whistle than Cinderella. One of the things I miss the most about living in the area is getting to hear that whistle!! I agree that Dollywood is magical at Christmas - they have the best decorations of any park, even Disney. Fun fact, they have several special fully-wrapped trees each year and they rotate where they are. You showed the red one at the beginning of the video - there's also blue, green, purple, and my favorite is the twinkling multicolor. If you ever need a coaster buddy, I'll be happy to join you!! I used to be the team lead at Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle. The shopping area in town is called the Island in Pigeon Forge btw - I opened that wheel! As a northerner I'm definitely giggling at you guys being super bundled up at 49°. That's downright balmy! It was a high of 8° here in southern Ohio on Christmas Eve (the windchill overnight was -42° 🥶). A week later I was walking around in a tshirt when it hit 50. Your Chatelaine has come a long way! That center is just gorgeous. And so sparkly! I just started one of the sisters to your Bella Filipina - I have Mayari, Deity of the Moon. Eventually I want to stitch all 3. She's very enjoyable to stitch, but she has a LOT of beads!! Can't wait to see your next update!
The train was Cinderella and it was so much fun and the lights were amazing. I only noticed the red tree but willl be on the look out for the others if we go back next year. I really wanted to ride the Mystery Mine train but the kids wouldn't do it. Every year I hope this will be the year they start riding roller coasters. I want to stitch all three of the Bella Fillipina Deities too. Hopefully someday I'll get around to it...probably when I retire. Happy stitching!
Just love all your videos. Your stitching is beautiful. With your family and job your stitching achievements are something to be really be proud off - superwoman! Was just wondering what you thought of Bella filipina designs? My new found passion. Happy stitching 😊
Ohhhhhh Love Dollywood, I use to live in Sylva NC and we were very close to Gatlinburg. That was our "Disney" in the mountains. Now I live in Melbourne ...sunny FL but watching your video makes me nostalgic for those places.
I want to stitch stockings for my husband and I as well. Not sure if it will be this year but I'm going to try! We just bought a house that has a fireplace and a beautiful mantle so we definitely need some!
Happy New Year to you and your cute family! I LOVED the long video because after sharing a late Christmas with daughter in S.C., we realized too late that they had Covid. It wasn't until I got sick and got home and tested that we realized it wasn't a cold. I am glad the 6th month old wasn't too sick. Anyway, you kept me company as I am recovering and I enjoyed all of it! I understand about work. This is a very hard time of year to be short staffed. People don't seem to need to work anymore. Same problem here. I hope your partner isn't out long. I will be saying a prayer for you! I liked the purple fabric for the mirabilla for your daughter. I truly love all your focus pieces for 2023. I have never worked with silks. Do you separate them the same as DMC? I will be working on a HUGE piece 700 x 420 called Pledge of Allegiance by The Cross Stitch Studio. It basically is the American flag with the Pledge of Allegiance written in the stripes. My husband really likes it, but we may both be dead before I finish it! Haha
The silks I usually just order when I need them, so I keep them with their project. Once I finish with them I put them into my "junk" cross stitch box that just a collection of odds and ends. I should probably come up with something better for them though. The Pledge of Allegiance looks like a beautiful piece. I was surprised at how many colors it has in it. Looks like you will be working on it for a long time but it will be beautiful when you finish!
@@stitchingpharmer There are so many colors in those stars. They are all different too. Even the background is so many colors to make it look vintage. I like it, but have so many other things I want to work on, and then I make quilts and I have SO many quilts kitted and ready to go! But my question about the silks, was actually about separately the skeins.
@@pennyhuffman2570 I cut off a length of silk from finger tip to elbow and then I use 2 strands of the silk to stitch. I usually keep them in flossaway bags or they're just loose in the project bag.
I enjoy seeing all your projects. Please 🙏 just leave the witch just how she is, she has a more rickety look 👀 now, with much more personality! A happy accident; if you will?!?!?!?! Sometimes we are soo hard on ourselves and not as forgiving towards our creations, while everyone else is blown away by your creativity!!! I think 🤔 Your work is amazing 😻! Sending love your way!

I've only bought one Bella Filipina so far but there are many more I hope to purchase. They are very pretty!
I love your videos, your projects are all similar to what I love - except you stitch a whole lot faster! ☺️☺️
Thank you! I feel like it takes me forever to finish anything

Happy new year. I don’t mind a long video at all. I always love to see what you are working on.
Thank you!
I just started the Holiday Glow stocking as my new year new start for my son. I loved seeing yours
Thank you! I need to get more motivated to work on it

We are often too hard on ourselves. I need to pull that out and just get it done. Thank you and happy stitching!
