Hi Liz, So sorry to hear about your grandmother. I am sure you have lots of special memories of her always. Safe travels with your family to and from her home. It was nice to see you at our Stitchin’ in the Barn. I hope you come back again. I enjoy watching your flosstube - your stitching is beautiful! Sincerely, Pat - Stitches Unlimited
I love watching your videos! All your stitching is marvelous. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. I am watching you and if there is some background noise, it is perfectly OK. I love hearing your dog walking around......missing our Lucy so I must just be used to it! If you said what your stitching His Eye is on the Sparrow count is of the fabric....Share when you can so lovely. Take care. Blessings
So sorry for the loss of your grandmother! Safe travels when you go to her Celebration of her Life! When I have to wash a piece that has speciality threads I take the orts from the piece and a small scrap of the fabric then I fill the sink with cold water and add a little woolite and see if there is any bleeding. I let that sit for a few mins. If there is no bleeding then I take my piece and put it in the sink of coke water and woolite. I just swish the piece around for a little. Then I just rinse it well and I will lay it in a big towel and roll the piece up to her the excess water out. Then I unroll it and lay it on a dry towel to let it dry.
Great video, love seeing all your progress ! The schoolboy sampler is gorgeous, we don’t see many boy samplers, very pretty! So sorry for your loss and safe travels. Happy Stitching 🧵✂️🪡❌
Hi, so nice to see you back. I’m so very sorry to hear about your loss, losing family at any age is always difficult. I can’t believe that no one picked up the Santa chart. I have yet to stitch an Autumn Lane chart but I really think their style is new and fun. Love the shoutouts I’ll have to give the two a try that I haven’t watched yet. Take care and looking forward to your next video to see progress on your beautiful stitching!
So sorry to hear that your Grandmother passed. It's always so hard to lose a loved one even when they have lived a long, full life. Loved all of the pieces that you shared especially His Eye is on the Sparrow. I've had that on my list of "want to stitch" but the size is overwhelming! However, every time you show yours, I get closer to just jumping in and starting it:)
I enjoy watching your beautiful sip an I enjoy watching your beautiful wips and I enjoy cross stitch surprise that school boy stitch also . Christmas is my favorite to stitch I do all year
I’m so sorry, Liz, at your grandma’s passing. I’m glad you’ll be going for her celebration of life. I loved seeing all the bulletin boards you made for your church 💕 I’ve been considering a Cricut but there are several models and I don’t know the differences lol And then I think “Is this another rabbit hole I’d be heading down with lots of things to accumulate?” Lol but then again, I think that’s with any hobby. You stitch beautifully, Liz. I’d love to stitch His Eye is on the Sparrow but I’m concerned I’d never get it finished lol since it’s so huge. But I admire it so much. Have a safe trip and treasure this time with your family. ❤️ Suzette
Sorry for the loss of your Grandmother. Maybe some of her sewing will be available as a momento. I enjoy seeing your works in progress, we have similar tastes. Your bulletin boards are awesome. How wonderful to provide Godly reminders for the students. Schoolboy chart could be worked in one color, thats what I would do.
Welcome to flosstube! I just watched all of your videos and you are doing great! I love your projects and also seeing some gardening and stuff. Would love to hear about your canning adventures. I'm so sorry about your grandmother.
Sorry for your loss❤. I watch you from Norway and love yor podcast. You do so nice work and I like the designs you select. You are a great inspiration ❤.
So very sorry to hear about your grandmother, safe travels to Missouri (that’s where I live). Your Frosty Forest is so pretty, it’s high on my wish list. What fabric are you stitching it on? As far as washing it, I’m not sure what advice to give other than to say that unless the floss is colorfast, you run the risk of the colors bleeding all over your project. Thanks for sharing your stitching with us.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll probably just have to leave it grimy 😆. I’m not positive what the fabric was because I started it so long ago. It’s probably what is called for though
I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandmothers passing. I'm much older, so it was long ago that I lost my grandma's, but I hold on to such fond memories, and the day will come when we are reunited. I hope that as you celebrate her life and do some cleaning, you will find wonderful treasures to hold dear to your heart. I never mind hearing your children. Life is more complicated with little ones, and you are including them in your joy of cross stitch, which I'm sure they will one day have fond memories of watching you. I love your His Eye is on the Sparrow! I've been hesitant about ordering because it's a large project, but maybe I can give it a try.
Always love your videos. So sorry to hear of your grandma’s passing. Hope many happy memories to sustain you. Santa is sweet! I did the houses of frosty forest have yet to frame or decide a fully finish. Oh the haed is beautiful! I have 3 started lol started is operative word. I didn’t mind the background as could still hear you just fine. It’s family life.
So sorry to hear about your grandmother I live in the boot Hill of Missouri, Also, I hope Johnny is ready to start the school day and before you know it, Santa will be here.
I met my husband when he was just a schoolboy and I a schoolgirl. 😊 Also, I would love to know where you got the gridded fabric. I've only recently started stitching again and I'm having issues keeping track of where I am. Lol
Hi Diana. In listening to Liz closer she said “easy count”. If you Google easy count cross stitch fabric…the gridded fabrics pop up. Hope this helps. Liz said hers is 25 ct easy count lugana
My condolences to you and your family, Liz, on the loss of your grandmother. May you hold her memory especially dear as you work with needle and thread. As always, thank you for sharing bits of your life and stitching with us.
So sorry about your grandmother. What a beautiful stitching/ sewing legacy she passed on to you and your mom . I enjoy a good Santa stitch:) take care.
Could you tell me which fabric you are stitching with and also the colour of floss you are using to stitch your Pandemic piece? Your stitched pieces are all beautiful. So sorry to hear of your loss.
Oh my goodness! Thank you so so so much for the wonderful shout out. Gosh! I didn’t expect that at all. ❤❤❤ I watched your whole video and kept wondering… where is all the backstitching??? Lol. I truly do enjoy it very much! +giggles+ Hey, I managed to already bake something from the first book. So happy! I may go crazy and even do another recipe. Lol. Husband is already very happy.
Hi! It’s nice to follow someone who lives near Stitches Unlimited! My sister and I just found that store and we love it! A bit far - over 2 hours but so good! I notice you have the loose feathers summer, autumn, winter chart behind you on the wall. I have autumn and winter and I cannot seem to find the Summer chart anywhere! Any chance you would consider loaning it or selling it to me? I want to stitch these for my small bedroom (has a crib for the grand babies). Anyway, please let me know… thanks for considering!
I’m so sorry to hear that your grandmother died. My grandmother’s death was difficult for me, but she was a faithful Christian lady, and I know we will see each other in Heaven one of these days. I love that sampler “His Eye is on the Sparrow.” Beautiful! It looks like the peacock in that one would have been fun to stitch. Also, I’m so happy that you gave a shout out to Istitchbirds. I absolutely love watching her videos. She is such a delight, and I love her countenance! That smile and her laughter is infectious (for lack of a better word). If the three of us could only live in the same neighborhood!! Of course, we would have a hard time getting anything accomplished other than stitching!! Best to you and yours. See you next time!! ❤
I’m sorry about your Grandmother I also have the creatures great and small pattern- ( the Barbara Ana one), and Plant of Rapid Growth….maybe we could do a start a long if you choose to stitch one of them! Not that I need a new project 😅
So sorry for your loss. I still miss my grandma, she was wonderful. The Frosty Forest is so pretty. I don’t mind the noises at all. I agree the Ukrainian kits are beautiful.
The schoolboy sampler is beautiful. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Great video. Your bulletin boards are beautiful and so is your stitching!
Thank you so much!

I bought mine from 123stitch
So sorry that you’ve lost your Grandma. Your forest piece is so close, it looks great! Which block will the button go on?
Thank you 😊. It goes in the middle block between the trees
I have not seen Johnny Jump-ups to my knowledge. They look much like pansy flowers which are quite common in container gardens here in Colorado.
My condolences to you and your family, Liz, on the loss of your grandmother. May you hold her memory especially dear as you work with needle and thread. As always, thank you for sharing bits of your life and stitching with us.
Thank you Barbara ❤️
RIP Grandma❤️. I love hearing those doggy scuttle about noises in the background. That full coverage is a hero piece. Good on you. 🇦🇺
Love your projects. On your full coverage 25 count, are you using 1 strand of floss over one linen thread? The coverage looks great. 🐨👍
Yes, it is being stitched one over one :)
Enjoyed the video. Santa
Johnny and Santa are both wonderful patterns.
So sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family. Johnny and Mahlon would be fun to stitch!
Oops, Mahlon the schoolboy would be fun to stitch🤗
