Wondered about the quality for years. Could only ever find airsoft reviews. After watching your review I bought a set and I am beyond pleased with them. They really are a solid option for people that want comms capability without paying peltor money. My MOD3s feel absolutely solid and robust and the NRR rating is good enough for my uses.
10/10 would recommend
Airsofters' hands, mouths and ears work the same way as anybody else's, so reviews should have gotten you a similar result.
The advantage is that an airsofter probably uses them more aggressively and way more frequently than other people, so you'll also get a review on their breaking points and failure ratios.
If you are going to use a $30 Baofeng radio, get the M32s or even a TAC-SKY Peltor clone.
@ tac sky has almost ZERO NRR. And NRR is a major factor in why I like these. And airsofters don’t care about NRR.
@@KalashmanNC Then, get a decent radio to go along the decent cans. Also, sim grenades bang for 130dB, which is no joke. NRR is needed.
Have a good day!
in terms of NRR, would you say it is good enough for rifle shooting? Trying to hit two birds with one stone
@@warmachine0962 more than adequate for the task.
Bought a pair, used your code. FedEx dropped them off, then the Amazon girl came and dropped off another pair 🤣
Then hook it up 😂
Noice
Dear lord I have seen what you have done for this good man.... 😂
How do these compare when figuring out in what direction sounds come from compared to sordins etc
I thought you do what I do. I order cheap and used shit off ebay then order a brand new one of the same thing and do the old swap and send it back to Amazon. That's how I got my thermal scope and thermal monocular so cheap
I thank you all for your reviews and added information. Been iffy on the EARMOR M32 for a while now, but I plan on buying a set this week thanks to this video.
I bought few pairs of the earmor m32 comms one for my high cut, and one for range use and to use under my large ACH helmet. Great headsets for the price definitely like em over my walkers
Really appreciate the video. I want to get some helmet mounted muffs with comms capability to put on my TW bump helmet but as nice as some OpsCore AMP would be (I assume, never used them), I ain't spending a thousand fricking dollars for them. The M32H/mil-pro ones look like they'll be fine for me. Thanks for the review big 🐕
Important to mention, these are the m32H version (the one meant to be used with a helmet mount) the m32 have a leather for the diadem and the cable is inaccessible if you want to use it with a helmet, you'd need to cut the leather off
These are NOT M32H. The one mounted to the helmet in my video are M32 MilPro , I took the headband off and bought the helmet mounts separately and attached them.
@@PilotPatriot i meant the one with the headband lol.
That's not true, latest M32 Mod3 (after may 2021 and not talking about the MilPro version) got a new hook and loop system for the headband
@@CrimsonSpearTactical so no model comes with leather now?
@@Fede_uyz Newest M32 Mod3 got this new hook and loop headband, but some shops still got the first version of M32 Mod 3 with leather headband, just ne careful with that
Heck, I’ve been happy with the inexpensive Howard Leights for several years now..something like $50-$60 bucks. :JUST ordered a HHV ‘ATE’ Bump and trying to decide do I WANT to “Comms” IT up or leave it bare..as it’s only me on the place and no “running & gunning” group at the moment. Thing is we have a ‘Neighborhood Watch’ here in ‘rural-ville’ Texas, we DO have radios set-up for SHTF, but no current group practice of sorts. I STILL think I’d rather have a dedicated helmet set-up and a stand-alone set. I, like everybody else I’m sure..have seen this done with Walker’s too. THIS far surpasses the Walkers though…Thanks for the informative vid!
THANKS FOR THIS VERY INFORMATIVE VLOG. MY SET TOF SORDINS HAVE HAD IT AND IWILL BE PURCHASING THE MIL SPEC SET FOR MY USE WITH SWAT.
Great, concise vid. Just the info I was lookin for.
Thanks for your efforts in making this available. 🤠
Just got a pair of these to pair with my bump since I didnt want to take apart my Walkers. Very excited to get some hours in and try out comms finally
We recently purchased 2 Earmor M32 headsets and paired them with the Disco32 Amplified U94 PTT, and were extremely disappointed that while we could hear ambient sounds & others talking when they keyed their mics, but others could not hear us when we keyed our mics. The others were using the Disco32 Amplified U94 PTT's with Peltor Comtacs, so we know the PTT's were working. This issue is definitely the headset. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you resolve the issue. Neither Disco32 or Earmor have a customer service number, so you cannot speak with anyone. You are at the mercy of e-mail... ugggh!!!
You should try the earmor ptt. I'm using the earmor ptt and a baofeng. Mine communicates fine with other radios
Got a response from the owner of Disco32. Super cool guy with a ton of knowledge... He was able to answer all my questions and even shared that they have many items in the works that are going to provide their customers with really cool options in the near future. So to sum up the solution to the issue people are experiencing when pairing the Earmor M32 headsets with the Disco32 PTT's, is despite what Earmor says, they ARE NOT AMPLIFIED. So, to help their customers, Disco32 now offers their famous and reliable U94 PTT's in a non- amplified version, and VIOLA, problem solved!!! Hope this info is helpful...
earmors cant used amplified ptts
Use an non-amplified ptt.
I don't know if you fixed it, but earmor uses a NATO jack, it will only work with military ptt with that configuration.
Hey, thanks for the wealth of great information I've been looking for. You did an excellent job of comparison and highlights.
Bravo Zulu!
Thanks for this. You have helped me make up my mind. Im getting a set.
The active hearing protection and boom mic are decent. The sound quality from comms is no bueno. Definitely not comtacs but for the money I suppose not bad
Hey did yours come with that rail thingie that looks as if you're supposed to somehow attach it to one of the the attachment points ie; one of the two round things you slide into the rail of the helmet to secure it?
I figured out the solid rail piece that slides into one of the ARC rails so you can attach something like a flashlight, but I just don't get what I'm supposed to do with that other rail piece.
Awesome review man. With the M32. Can you tie a Phone into them for music? Their website says "Independent 4x high end beats audio speakers for separate input audio device and ambient sounds" I know with my Howard Leights they have a separate 3.5mm jack. I'm looking for something a bit more tactical like these that I can mount to a helmet.. These seem perfect....and affordable. Maybe an adapter for the PTT that would accomplish this..
M31s have the 3.5mm jack, but not the M32s.
So do they block out sound from an actual gun shooting? I know there meant for airsoft but just curious
Wondering if you could do a sound comparison - mic in the headphone on each, with the same recorded message over the radio? Test amplification audio?
Is there a 200€ worthy difference between regular m32 and milpro? They almost look same on paper. Also would you choose this over razor or howard brands? Lets say compared to razors xcel or quad muffs
The Milpro have better quality electronics, that's there the price difference is. Can't compare to razor and Howard because razor and Howard don't offer communications.
How would you place the audio quality for the milpro vs comtacs? Specifically the ambient noise amplification and is it very noticeable when the sound cuts out for loud noises or is it pretty seamless like comtacs?
Should I wear railed headset on my helmet or ones with the band
Can someone help me resolve my issue?
I have a HHV Gen 2 + their pop in adapter and Walker Razors. I upgraded the pads which are supposed to have a better seal over ears in addition to added comfort.
My problem is that they do not seal completely over my ears and do not provide ample hearing protection, especially at the lower ends.
I push them in as far as I can and have no idea how to make them fit over my ears any better.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
what helmet pads are you using?
Hi! thanks for the very detailed review. One point I can't seem to find an answer to: how do they perform in a shooting range scenario? do they cut enough sound to act as "real" ear protection? Thanks
Yes they do! I'd compare to Howard Leight or waller razor
hello, I am a UK paramotor pilot and looking to upgrade my paramotor helmet and com system. will the comm system be good.to talk to other pilots and with blue-tooth be able to talk to make phone calls etc?
While I do like these headsets I'd get something a little higher quality for something like that. Something designed for pilots
Is there any way to achieve the m32x mark 3 milpro other than buying it that way? Can you start with the m32 headset version and which arc rail adapters work with it? Or are the milpro built differently/better?
They are really good, no doubt expect that they are flimsy af...
Are the mil pros digital sound or sinialr to sordins or walkers fire max or no ?
Thank you for the video.
imma have to get me some of these!
Does it enhance hearing
How do these work using digital? Do they stutter like other headsets when using DMR?
That is what I need to know too.
@@diegrinder6851 So far they do stutter. They are great otherwise
My question is about the PTT. I cannot use an amplified PTT for the DMR radio I am using. Do the Earmor PTTs come non amplified?
I have the Earmor M51 PTT and it is not amplified. But I also have a problem with my transmitted volume is very low at the receiving radio. So I'm under the assumption that I might need an Amped PTT!?
@@Sarm-mx6qy You probably do need an amped PTT. If your headset uses a Dynamic mic, it will need to be amped.
I have a pair of Earmor M32 MOD 3’s that I bought the Earmor branded PTT for, and whenever I key up from the PTT it sends the Roger beep through, but no audio from the attached microphone will send through. Anytime someone else tries to talk to me, no audio from their radio makes into the headset but the radio is receiving the signal. I’ve even tried switching to FM mode and listening to local stations with the volume cranked all the way up on the radio and still, no audio will make it into the headset. Is there any quick trouble shooting or fix for this that you know of? Thank you!
Do these mute outside sound when you plug a radio in?
No, still functions the same with radio plugged in, you will just Also hear the radio feed
@@PilotPatriot SOLD. thank you!
How can you tell if they’re on/off? I don’t hear any difference personally, do you need to plug them in for them to work?
If they are off you will hear nothing if they are on you will know. Set it to max volume and all sounds will be amplified. It does not have to be plugged in.
Usually with any digital ear pro you can definitely tell when they’re on. Turn them all the way up and you can hear an ant fart lol
Does it work on miltary aviation headset.
One little question, can mic be taken off completely if let's say one does not need comms at the range for example?
Yes
How are these for sound reduction when shooting?
Rated at 22db reduction. On par with most electronic headphones.
Any tips on adjusting the seal on the helmet mounted ones? I've had a set of m32h's for the exfil for a while but haven't shot with them. I've tried bending the arms to get a better seal and even got a replacement set from them before.
They sell upgraded gel ear pads, maybe that would help?
@@PilotPatriot it very well could. Assuming they haven't changed the design from previous models.
Can share what model sunglasses? Did the ear cups mold around? Any live fire with them? Thx
Yes plenty of live fire with them! I upgraded to the gel cups so yest the mold around them great and Honestly I have no idea the brand of glasses.
Hello all
After watching a couple reviews including this one, I decided to buy the Opsmen Earmor M32X Mark 3 Milpro headset. Im having an issue that when I transmit through my current setup (Baofeng UV-5R through the Earmor M51 PTT) the receiving radio user can barely hear me even with their volume turned all the way up. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the hard 150 ohm boom mic found in the M32X Mark 3 Milpro is a dynamic mic or not? Thanks in advance
It's because you got taken with the hype on these. These sold for $20-$30 for airsofters before someone started marketing them all over social media with a HUGE markup. They are junk. And tge "LE, MIL-PRO" whatever whatever is just Marketing buzzwords, no law enforcement, military, or professional have or use these.
@@ahole5407 what do you use?
@@dsbiddle Atlantic Signal H²O Comtacs with a Viper II ptt.
@@ahole5407 looks like good shit. Thank ya, bro

I got the earmor and tried to get them to work with a disco32 but they did not. Anyone else ever have issues using a non earmor ptt and got them to work?
Can i leave my batterys in the set, while not using for a log time?
Yea, depending on how long you are talking. I wouldnt do that for years...but months should be fine
Just wondering what radio do you recommend for this headset, gonna grab me one soon
The radio is really up to you and your budget, I use Baofeng UV82HP. Link in description
@@PilotPatriot thanks
I use the Baofeng DM-1801 radio. It does UHF, and VHF. It also does analog, and DMR digital. It's over $100 but super worth it. It can talk to almost any other radio you can think of, including the kids type FRS radios.
@@jhutch1470 Hey Hutch, I picked up a set of the Milpro M32X Mark 3 running through an Earmor PTT from a Baofeng UV-5R. I'm having an issue where the receiving radio can barely hear me even with their volume turned all the way up. I'm wondering if I need an amplified PTT? Thanks in advance 👍
@@Sarm-mx6qy You are being ignored it seems. Unfortunately I have no answer for you, but I believe It should work like it is. The normal mod 3 works well as is with standard ptt. I guess you have tried communicating on the radio without the headset just to make sure it is not the radio? I hope you get this resolved.
Quick question. I've heard that in the past they only allowed a proprietary ptt for their headsets. Is this still the case or no? Can you use any ptt that would be used on say a baofeng?
Still propriety
@@void-_-7563 well dang it
@@1991aj2 Earmor sells a ptt marketed for use with baofeng
@@colemiller5087 Which Baofengs? I'm using DMR and can't have an amplified PTT. I can't info about the PTTs.
Interesting, whe I live (Switzerland) I can buy these with standard 7mm NATO plugs and Earmor sells a bunch of PTTs for Midland / Kenwood / bunch others
What kind of adapter is needed to mount these on a fast ballistic helmet?
Arc rail adaptors
How can I push it in more to the helmet they like hover over my helmet
Over my ears**
They should lock out away from your ears but if you just press inward they should snap in over your hears
Nice review!!!!
Do these work with the peltor mounts?
No, they have their own proprietary mounts, but you can get those mounts everywhere for quite cheap.
You can transfer the plastic part of the earmor to the peltor mounts, yes they work.
I recently bought a pair of M32H mod 3. I use them for airsoft and they work well but my adapters don’t click out. Anyone has the same problem and, possibly, a solution?
You're either not pulling it out hard enough or maybe it's already clicked out.
They are extremely tight at first.
Where can I purchase the mic upgrade?
Try the accessories link in the description! Don't forget to use the coupon code
I ordered the M32N Mk3 (milpro neckband) direct from us.earmor. Note that it does not have the solid boom mic. Looking back at the website, from the product photos it appears that only the EXFIL 3.0 has the solid boom round mic, vs. the flex boom coffin mic. The product descriptions don’t specify, and I don’t know that theres a technical difference other than a form preference.
Hey brother have you figured anything out about the mics yet? I have the M32X Mark 3 Milpro and mine came with the 150 ohm's solid boom mic but I don't know if this mic or any one of their mics are dynamic or not. Wonder if anyone knows if their mic is dynamic? Do amplified PTTs work with their Milpro headset?
Anyone know how the milpro stack up against sordins?
Yes.
I can transmit on my baofeng but cannot get transmissions from others with my m32s, any ideas?
You have the correct connector going to the radio?
@@PilotPatriot From what I can tell yeah. I can hear some channels such as like weather but cannot on others but transmit fine.
Could it be that I need an earmore ptt connector?
@@paradisewithmoto4196 you need an earmor PTT. At least this is what their website mentions.
@@cuestatv9900 INTERESTING, did not know that. Will test and get back to you.
The m32 fill a perfect void at the price of the Milpro is probably save some more for peltors
What? Can someone decipher this for me?
If your going to buy the Milpro version you should spend a little more on real peltor comtacs
@@BobBob-il2ku Ah, got it. I agree. That makes sense!
Subbed!
Thanks!
I noticed a heavy marketing campaign on these. Looks just like the cheap headsets that have been for sale for years only now with a HUGE markup from what they were. These went for $20-$30 before someone decided to start marketing them. Don't be fooled. You are better off with airsoft replica comtacs.
They are cheap headsets...that's the point. It's basically Howard leights with integrated comms...$80 is a fair price for that.
And they havnt been marked up any more than anything else in recent years. Are you sure you aren't just comparing price from the non-comm version to the comm version?
@@PilotPatriot lol, just do a search. Red wolf airsoft has these for $34. And that IS marked up from what they were before the marketing. Like I said, these are nothing but airsoft ear pro that someone hyped up in the past year on social media.
@@ahole5407 ahh. I see you are going to live up to your screen name! Lol. First... Second...duh they are used by airsofters, I literally said that in my video. But they are also rated for ballistic hearing protection and have communication capabilities that actually work. So you can hate if you want to, but if it works it works.
The entire point of the video (which you clearly missed) is BUDGET ear pro for people that want comms....
Kenmore...lol
*Kenwood 😉
Lol, you know what I meant
Highly disappointed with mine. The mic is mounted terribly, and highly fragile. It's a claw clamp, that broke super easy on mine. And nothing but crickets from the company.
Did you get the cheap one or the milpro version?
@@PilotPatriot got it second hand but new. So I'm not so sure.
@@asdzx1757 i compare the 2 in this video, you should be able to tell which you have by looking at the differences.
Aside from that, the boom mic is pretty cheap and easy to replace if you want to just pick up a new one I think I linked to the boom mic in the description. If you want something higher quality I'd look at the milpro version. Or just save up for Commtacs or Sordens
