I've found a lot of those jack in the muffs don't hold a plug very well. I run straight to my ear, underneath the muffs. For someone looking for low profile ear pro, and quiet comms, take one of those in ears, and pull the flange off. It will plug right into the little hole in surefire ear plugs.

I first got a pair of the Earmor M32's mod2 a few years ago, they worked very well but the one thing I found that was a weak link was the clip that attaches the mic to the headset. These are definitely mid tier airsoft grade in the coms aspect but for hearing protection they really excel in that. When I saw an updated version I was excited and hopeful that maybe the electronics might be upgraded to give better sound when using the electronic earpro or that the noise reduction will be improved.
