Vibrato can vary by string based on the width of the string... Wider when the string is thicker... But also what position you are in.. Higher position.. Means slightly wider vibrato.. But.. Like you are saying.. It can sound wonderful to get more "flesh" on the c string for a beautiful sound.. Thanks for your contemplative questions

Less finger pressure generates a warmer tone. More finger pressure produces a cooler sound.
