You are channel is criminally small. In my opinion, this is much better than Dogen's pitch accent series.

Thanks, this one is so much simpler. It was no brainer for me to choose new version instead of traditional.

I found this video extremely interesting and insightful (just like every other video you made on this channel) but I would like to ask you about the present and past negative forms in this "new" adjective pronunciation
I think 白くない、赤くない、白くなかった and 赤くなかった are respectively pronounced as
    し\ろくない
    あかくな\い
    し\ろくなかった
    あかくな\かった
in the traditional adjective pronunciation, so I was wondering about how these adjectives would be pronounced nowadays according to the new pronunciation rules you talked about in this video

I looked up those accents in Japanese Accent Dictionaries and found out there's no change.
      し\ろく・な\い
      あ/かくな\い
      し\ろく・な\かった
      あ/かくな\かった

    Great!!! But 1 question:
What about other forms? Like for example よろしければ. I'm really struggling with this one...

Its accent pattern is like よ/ろし\ければ. By the way, the vowel "i" of し in this phrase is pronounced voicelessly.

hi Mei,as always thanks for this content. I would like to ask one thing. Do you know if the "s" sound in italian is the same as in japanese? I'm asking because I'm having a little bit of trouble figuring out how to pronounce it correctly, and since I know that the tongue position for the italian "r" is almost the same (if not the same) as in the Japanese language, I wondered if the same was true for the "s" sound. Thank you once again!!!

If you prounounce あか\い時計 does it sound natural to native speakers ?

In あかい + Noun form, the use of the new accent pattern あ/か\いとけー has not much progressed. Instead あ/かいとけー is more natural as is pronounced at 3:59.
