I’m pretty scared I have AST 56, ALT 95, and just had an ultrasound where they said they “found a mass” on my liver……I have to schedule a CT scan for next week. My mom has fatty liver disease but doesn’t know if she has any growths on her liver. I do get mild pain/burning sensations when I eat a heavy meal or recently had spicy foods. But I have no crippling pain, no changes in urine or stool color, no weight loss, no vomiting, no nausea, no new body pain. I’m overweight and have a bad diet, but I’m changing that immediately I used to be very fit and muscular and NEED to get back to my healthy habits after this. I’m just hoping I’ll be ok 🙏

Very informative. Thank you. It's important for doctors to start looking at reasons for these growths. You should look into the artificial methods and ingredients in foods. Chickens ate given "feed" that makes hens lay eggs without fertilization by a rooster. The same with the treatments given to animals to increase amount of milk, or their size. The fertilizers used are also probably contributing. Must make foods natural again.

I just had my gallbladder removed and when I had the CT scan they found a 1.7 cm mass. They said it looks to be a benign cyst. I am now going for a ultrasound. Should I also get an MRI? The mass is located on the dome of my liver. My liver enzymes are also moderately elevated ( AST and ASP) They also found a cyst on one of my kidneys last year too but was not further investigated.

I just had a CT scan and it showed an 8mm lesion. I’ve had biliary issues for 25 years after a botched gallbladder removal. My common bile duct was cut and I had to have a roux-en-y to reattach everything. Over the years my scar tissue has caused many biliary blockages which have now caused fibrosis and I am in stage 3 liver disease. My doctors want to wait 3 months to rescan but I had 3 scans in the past year and the first 2 didn’t show any lesions and now I have a lesion. My last scan was 4 months ago and then one week ago. If I grew this in 4 months, what can happen in three months if I wait? I don’t know if I should listen to my team or get a second opinion. I do have many symptoms. Severe fatigue, lethargy actually, liver spasms all day long, nausea, vomiting and elevated liver enzymes but normal bilirubin and no jaundice. I also have anemia and low protein levels due to my faulty liver and I’m always low on electrolytes from vomiting. I have biliary stents to keep things open and a big stent that drains my liver directly into my stomach.

Possibly an odd question. It was discovered incidentally that I have liver cysts during a MRI of my spine. One cyst is 7 cm. CT w contrast confirmed several smaller cysts as well on my liver as well as small cysts in my kidneys. I whelped a litter of puppies in April, and my dam as well as myself were severely Ill with horrible diarrhea shortly after her c section. I questioned if we possibly picked up a parasite in the theriogenology college parking lot (horses, livestock in the gravel parking lot with standing water were brought there as well.) Now I have these cysts that have yet to be determined as simple, etc. I was cleaning a lot of dog diarrhea, 6 puppies feces etc. Could I have gotten Hydatid cysts from my puppy litter in the USA?
