its great that youre trying to move away from fast fashion atleast partially, thrifting is amazing for that and theres so much clothes at thrift stores that goes to landfill please dont feel like you shouldnt purchase from there, depop is also a great place to get secondhand clothes and theres less expensive stuff there too:)

ASDGFHJ THANK YOU! I usually do regular winged eyeliner and then draw two fake eyelashes under each eye to give the illusion of long eyelashes on the bottom :)

hii ! I just want to say that my legs are probably exactly like your. Here's a tiny tmi story: I wasn't allowed to shave when I first started growing hair on my legs, so I would sneak a razor out of my grandma's bathroom & shave with just water and because of that I actually have legs that are bumpy and have spots all over them. Even on the bottom of my arms. I was always insecure about my legs but then eventually, I just said whatever and wore what I wanted. Even when people stared, it's not like I could do anything about it, so I just accepted it

When u talked about not wanting to shop all the good clothes from thrift stores, I LOST IT BC I WAS *JUST* THINKING ABOUT THAT YESTERDAY!
It makes me sad seeing so many thrift hauls, like RUclips channels DEDICATED to ONLY thrift hauls and buying so many of the "trendy" or just really good and unique pieces.
Personally, I would shop there only once in a while. I can only afford thrift clothes and, honestly, SHEIN clothes as much as it pains me. Prices r going up for ppl who need those clothes more than me bc that's their MAIN option. Idk. I don't shop often, honestly, but when I do I feel guilty no matter what I choose- thrift or SHEIN 🙁
i agree with you!! i feel like with all of the micro trends happening, so much more waste and over-consumption is just going to rise to uncontrollable levels to the point where it wouldn’t matter if a lot of people stopped buying into fast fashion because the damage would’ve already been done. Now, with thrifting i’ve learned that there is an abundance of clothes in thrift stores to the point that if a lot of people turned to thrifting, then it wouldn’t make a big impact on shopping at thrift stores UNLESS the thrift store raises prices, which a lot has done. so the main issue is to keep thrift stores from raising their prices in order for people coming from lower income can still have the same options as other people who are from higher income and just want to shop sustainably - but it’s so complex that i could be entirely wrong 😅 i don’t think you should feel super guilty about it though! i honestly have felt that as well and people can be brutal when they find out you do one or the other - but you can’t please everyone and at the end of the day, you’re doing what you can in your position so i think that’s the strongest thing to keep in mind
