Yesss I've recently started and am really struggling

heyyyy. frist off i think a big misconception with meditation that its going to be rlly easy to get into it but thats not the case so be patient with yourselves. ok anyway there a a bunch of guided meditations on youtube and there are also a bunch of apps. What i do personally is play a sound of rain, white noise and/or nature sounds and focus on my breathing. as i inhale through my nose i count to four, filling my stomach with air, hold for two and exhale through my mouth for 6 then hold again for two. I do it right before bed but some people do it in the morning. naomi has said that she does it before bed. hope this helps :)
Ik you're asking her and not me lol but as a 5+ year meditator I feel like you should keep in mind one thing - just keep going. Whether it is pain, pleasure, shame or boredom that you encounter during your meditation just keep pushing throught it. The thing is that during meditation everything suppressed comes to the surface (for example, monks who obtain from sexual intercourse often get a high desire for sex while meditating). That is, meditation will meet you exactly where you are and that's the whole beauty of it.

wow i know this video is old but the fact that universe has brought me to you and to this video I am so grateful because I've been trying to get back into makeup and I too like the "grunge" type and the fact that you too don't use foundation or conclear made me relate because I have most products (not the same brand) that you have so it's easier for me to follow these steps.
