    my new cylinder heads came in, new.... Not new to me, not swap meet new but brand spanking new. Selling boat to get new carburetors, intake manifold, flywheel, starter, torque convert gaskets and the likes. i'm still on budget, wife still loves me. i'm shopping for a car though, wish me luck.

    Have you ever verified timing with a timing light? I saw you degree the cam but I wonder if your crank reluctor wheel is off and the crank trigger offset needs correction in the Holley.

    you need a bolt toghether so you can do a stator change at home. im sure you have bought a few converters .

      Hahah I have one, we just can’t see what’s up with the car. I have a bolt together circle d then the og ptc welded one. I wanted to switch back to that to see what happened since the car was fast on that prior. Hahah idk about the burnouts I was being a baby about them before but f it 😂

      1250lbs an hour at 30psi. The car is on e85. I ran a stock timing set on it then a went to adjustable one and re degreed the cam. Made no difference

      @@OverydeMotorsports Using a dynometer is certainly a good idea.
      Clearly You are expressing Your frustrations, difficulties, problems disappointments, especially with the track results.
      However, a dynometer is a tool that has many uses with, within its measurements - not just the total power or torque, also the specific curve with the increase, decrease of power, torque, also compared with the boost, AFR, with and without boost.
      A. There are many tools with measurements that are useful, helpful, beneficial, important to use - some in combination.
      B. There is much data collected within, via the ECU-PCM from the sensors which are connected.
      C. The use of the tools are more valuable, useful helpful, beneficial to those with more knowledge, expertise, experience.
      D. You many have a sufficient amount of information from the sensors connected to the ECU-PCM to determine the situation, conditions, performance, affects, effects, issue(s), causes ->with proper assessment, evaluation, differentiation, discernment, analysis, logic, reason, determination with the proper basics of information, knowledge, ideas, concepts, principles.
      E.->as an example - see within Clay Milican posted videos and his racing team, how the Crew Chief [currently Jim (Jimbo), previously Mike] uses the collected data via the "Race Pack" from all of the sensors they have to properly assess, evaluate, etc. along with some other specific information from the other members in the team from the parts removed [after each run-pass], also the involvement with the engine builder, then determine the issues, modifications, adjustments, etc. - even for the relatively tiny variations with ET at every measured point and their trap speeds.
      ->they do not use a dynometer for any testing, measurements, etc.
      F. Perhaps, if You will tell me all of the sensors and measurements that Your vehicle setup has connected with ECU-PCM, then maybe i could be of some assistance with assessing, evaluating, etc. ->certainly a local expert with engine tuning, building, etc. will be helpful, useful, beneficial - and necessary
      ->especially with a proper dynometer session ->there individual which is involved with the dynometer session, is critical to use of, with this valuable too - also in combination with the ECU-PCM data logs - possibly including other equipment as analyzers - collecting, monitoring, other important information, data
      ->all of this is interconnected, interrelated, need to be combined, correlated, assessed, etc. together for the best, wide, deep, detailed, overall view - and including the time slips with the track measurements too. - which alone can be correlated with the ECU-PCM collected data.
      G. One idea was triggered within my thoughts about another fellow who lives in Minnesota that also drag races, participated at RMRW, Sick Week, has a channel - IED Racing - with his RX-7 Rotary, 13B, turbocharged vehicle - mid 9 sec 1/4 mile - striving for low 9's into the upper 8's.
      ->his channel shows recent posts with his 'test' passes at Brainerd International Raceway, Brainerd Minnesota
      ->obviously Minnesota is quite a large State and am not aware of Your specific location, area, town within the State - perhaps this fellow can be of some assistance, help, benefit, guidance with a reliable, knowledgeable individual that can assist You with Your vehicle and achieving proper assessment, evaluation, analysis, etc., including the ECU data, and dynometer use too.
      All The Best and Much Success n Your Quest, Health Happiness and Well Being.
      Sincerely

       @Overyde Motorsports Have just checked the location and distances between Brainerd and Grove Creek, MN and between the two Raceways
      ->such it shows Grove Greek to the west of Minneapolis, and the Raceway nearby
      ->also Brainerd north of Grove Creek and northwest of Minneapolis
      ->the distance between the two towns is ~110 mi from Grove Creek, north to Brainerd and slightly more between the Raceway-tracks ~ am not certain the distance from Your home to the Grove Creek Raceway, but it seems You drove Your Mustang race vehicle to the track =>thus, seemingly relatively close
      -> the distance of, for, with the IED Racing, RX-7 owner to the Brainerd Raceway-track is unknown, though in the video is seems clear he drove it there via a closed trailer ->so, it seems Brainerd is the closest Raceway, or the best for him, and some distance - which is not clear how far ->thus from You his distance is unknown also.
      ->You could clarify
      ->perhaps his tuner can also assist You from a distance, as others do remotely, with viewing the data sent.
      My hope is that You will find, locate the necessary, help, use, assistance, guidance ,etc. as You need to succeed - an maybe the fellow with the IED Racing RX-7 can be assistance with a helpful, useful, beneficial expert

      This issue is not Minnesota, nor Midwest, nor limited to any specific or particular area, region, State, etc.
      it was more common among the low and poorly educated folks - often in the inner city - perhaps ask You Dad too [my age is a little older @63 y/o]
      ->am originally born in SB, IN, lived in Tol,OH ->then Md-Wash,D.C area - also know many from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas, Dakotas, Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma,Missouri,Illinois,Michigan, Kentucky,Tennessee,Pennsylvania,W.Virginia,Virginia,Carolina (s),Georgia,Florida,Texas,Louisiana,Alabama,Mississippi,Florida,Delaware,NJ,NY,Conn.,RI,NH,VT,ME,NM,UT,WY,ID,WA,OR,CA(lived there),AZ,NV,HI,AK (any missing?)many which i've visited and experienced the people too ->including those from farms, the hills, and similar
      ->though my residence is outside the USA since before You were born, since 1993, still the normal speech, speaking for the core of society is still mostly with basic proper grammar -> though it seems from many of the channels with younger people, this has degraded to the lower level for many along with the extensive use with superlatives ->thus extremes
      =>super 'this'-noun for good and bad, then adding a super for each increased level
      =>also extremes in emotions with "Love" for anything, everything about like, enjoy, and similarly positive ->then "Hate" for everything negative, and the opposite
      ->these actually have significant affect upon the psyche, brain, mind, mindset, thinking, attitude ->results in viewing everthing as "extreme' and severe, with thse divisions ->thus also more division between people, within society -> detrimental - in proportion to the extreme view, descriptions, perspective, perception, attitude, mindset.
      -> positive mental attitude[PMA] is important, essential to critical
      [that's enough societal philosophy => hopefully something to actually think about, ponder, assess, etc. especially within the "Self" evaluation, perception, etc.]
      (if You desire and are willing -this is an area in which i was guided, directed, advised and chose to accept, work on, develop more and extensively - there are some key books to read, thus develop the mental ideas, concepts, principles ->Our brain, thoughts affect every aspect within Our body function, results, connection and relationship with others - Our entire life - We each have the given ability, capability, power to choose OUr thoughts and how to react within and without to given thoughts (challenges-opportunities) and with others too.
      Actually if You recall Your basic English grammar
      -> verb see
      -> simple past: i,you, he,she,we,you(all-pl),they saw
      -> past perfect: i,you,he,she,we,you(all-pl), they have seen =>becomes with the 'have' in contraction form i,you,we,you(all-pl)they 've seen, he,she 's seen
      ->it seems the contracted "''ve" = have become dropped =>thus just "seen" ->perhaps as similar with "seem"-"seems" and other similar sounding verb forms.
      ->do You hear people mistake using for the verb "saw" - cutting with a saw ?
      Many of Our speech patterns, speaking, terms including the massive use, misuse, abuse with vulgar language [also similar with 'extreme' expressions -improper type and use] is from the various people and other influences within Our lives including environment, media, music, motion pictures-movies, video, etc.
      ->this became clear to me while living in the dormitories at University, then returning home - noticed a few words and expressions which not common to me nor within my family, nor acceptable - would 'slip out' from my mouth occasionally - stemming form my thoughts and the influence of my surroundings, environment, that was just within the dormitory and not within my classes, nor among most of all of the students in my classes either - it was not actually with my normal speech either within the dormitories - just occassionally
      ->thus, noticing this - it was rather easily detected and thus adjusted - it was basically and relatively external ->thus easily eliminated from my thoughts, mindset, expressions. Simple.
      ->there are other expressions, thought which i became aware of, thus worked to modify, change improve, which were negative, improper use, misuse, abuse also.
      Hopefully this could be helpful, useful beneficial - if You want, desire - else just leave it aside.
      All The Best
