Nice to have a convoy with tint ramping. It looks like you got the one with the 60 degree beaded optic which is the floodiest and the 10 degree flat is the throwiest. If you like the 2700k tint you have to try the gt fc40 1800-2000k emitter, I have it in the m21b and I love it. I also have the s21e with the 519a 2700k and I like the gt fc40 1800k way more. It is so much brighter than the 519a 2700k and I like the tint much more.

Ive got this beauty on the way. Additionally ordered a set of extra TIR lenses for it. Anticipating liking the 10 deg flat lens best for night walks. Seems like an extremely versatile setup.

Should be fun. I'm not too deep in the hobby yet so this light should help me figure out a lot about my tint preferences. (And TIR preferences I suppose)
10° flat will produce a nice combination beam which is more versatile compared to other lenses. GITD looks nicer too under a flat lens compared to beaded ones.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! 😃 I use different tint flashlights for different tasks, warm white indoors during power outages, neutral white for general everyday use and cool white for maximum brightness/turbo (which I rarely use). With this I will only need to carry one flashlight 🙂👍
Nice. I like tint ramping and with those 519A LEDs that will be some great mixing and light quality. I have a D4V2 dual channel that has 2 CSLNM1.FY and 2 CSLNM1.TG so I can mix 1900k to 6000K. It's one of my favorites. There should be more manufacturers doing mixing. I was out in a snow storm with mine recently and the orange light is much better with lake effect snow fall.

Convoy has really fallen behind with the UI. Their UI these days feels like the "Chinese copy" stereotype we're all used to with cheap stuff from China. It claims to do all the same things, but it isn't quite right. The crazy part is that Anduril is actually open source and he could just switch to that and be a market leader, instead he keeps trying to catch up with the features and it gets worse and worse. Both tint ramping and power ramp are horrible to use. Such a shame when the hardware itself is so nice...
I agree. I have this light and the UI is TERRIBLE! Just locking/unlocking the flashlight is a real hassle and I almost ALWAYS accidently activate strobe instead or accidently switch to tactical mode and then I struggle to get out of it 😅 I wish it used hold for 5 seconds to lock/unlock instead of tapping 10 times very quickly, and if you accidently slow down while tapping, then some other mode activates instead.
