    I would love to see a video where you show us how to fix mistakes on cakes - ex: when you put “Chase” on the cake instead of “Chance” and you had to fix it. I wouldn’t even know what to do if that happened to me. That would be a very helpful video! ❤ thank you for everything you’ve taught me so far

      @@KarolynsKakes i didn't taste it, but I used 1 cup chocolate, I know a bit much, but I wanted a good chocolate flavor, my guys tasted, and came back wanting more. Was even sneaking bites when I went to wash my hands so I could wrap it up lol. I will be unwrapping it in a few days to start making some of the decorations I am making for the boat. Makings the sails today with wafer paper. Using a technic I seen done for making wafer paper roses, it feels like suede, or leather. But drys it whatever shape your making, so the will look like the wind is blowing through them. I will try to remember to send pictures

    I have a question I’m not sure do u have a video on this but I had a question about the sugar and water u use right to keep cakes moist and what to do with my cake .. so if I want to make my cake a day I advance right and the next do all the fondant and decorate it where do I put my cake for night ? Ok so do I spray that stuff to keep my cakes moist before I wrap them up or no?
    Do I bake my cakes let them cool and wrap them with cling wrap and place them
    Where over night the fridge or the freezer? Do I spray stuff on it to keep it moist before I store it or after

    Thank you for the great video. ❤ Can you do the same with white chocolate chips? So the flavor would be chocolaty, but the color can be other than brown. I love the recipe, but don’t need brown fondant often.

    • @KarolynsKakes
      @KarolynsKakes  2 года назад

      White chocolate chips are made with cocoa butter, but not cocoa solids. Cocoa solids (like cocoa powder) are found in milk and dark chocolate. The solids give chocolate it's flavor. White chocolate is often flavored with vanilla so it doesn't have the same taste.

    Even though you added tylose to the fondant as you were making it would you still add it later when you’re ready to use it? I’m assuming you would but wanted to check. Your earlier fondant videos didn’t add the tylose as you were making the fondant but I think it’s a great idea. I’ve made fondant with your recipe and LOVE it!!!

    • @KarolynsKakes
      @KarolynsKakes  2 года назад

      I would add it if I felt like it needed more (if I'm making a decoration that has to dry hard.)
      I posted an updated fondant recipe video a few months back, showing that I now add Tylose to all of my fondant. I don't add too much to the entire batch, but will add more if necessary.😊

      Thank you Diana!
      I've kept it in the container for 3-4 weeks and it's been fine!
      I have heard that people freeze it, I never have just because I use so much of it.
      I believe it could last up to a year in the freezer.
