Mine arrived yesterday and I'm glad it didn't work on my 2000 Volkswagen Golf. N idea why it didn't work. I assumed this type of HU66 only worked on years 2005 and up for VW. But I lack knowledge of much automotive locks.
The first time i used this tool, it got stuck in my customers barrel. I then spent over an hour trying to get it back out. Then discovered that one of the little sliders was still inside the barrel. This tool is now in the bin. Now use a lishi pick instead

I found it very hit and miss I too use lishi for work and was looking for something faster but in the end I gave up on these so called no skill lock picks and just stick to lishi most locks only tend to take 1 to 2 Min to open with a lishi so I just stick to those 👍

pluss i could done with this as lost keys to my car 6weeks ago and had to buy another lock set lol then smashed locks to get in and ignition lol then found the keys today
Mine arrived Friday but the first pins on both sides fell out after lots of emails seller sending more sliding things out . I did refit them so they were tight but still not open my t6 which normal hu66 will do in about 3 mins . Hope to see you get in lock on a vehicle . As at minute I am having my doubts on reliability .
I accidentally pushed a pin out on mine re fitted and still works I believe the first lot of these made by the manufacturer had a fault I believe some where not working and if forced they snapped so I had to wait for the next lot I waited from 14th June till now to get mine where did you get yours ? For me this will be my bad weather pick for hu66 locks nothing worse than picking in a storm 😂 but for now I'll use it on all hu66 locks just to see what the success rate it and after that I'll use the lishi in dry weather and this in the bad lol

Pretty much all vag cars from 1999 to 2015 prior to 1999 it will only open some and after 2015 same again as the locks are different on some models outside of the 1999 to 2015 years
Hi I found the pick to be very hit and miss worked well on cars with aftermarket locks but struggled on OE locks so I sold the tool and just use lishi 2in1 lock picks as I don't think it's a good tool
@ just cars with the hu66 these are mainly vw Audi Skoda Seat each car manufacturer has different lock designs and you need a different pick for each I currently have around 30 car lock picks each one for a different manufacturer and there are loads more
Sure is this is the gen 2 the gen 1 uses a 1up 1down wafer set up the gen 2 versions and upwards use a 2 up 2 down wafer set up which was used up to 2020 all VAG group cars now use the hu162 series of locks which started to be introduced in 2015

I can only film cars that I'm given permission on. but the tool started to fail in opening almost all locks so I got rid of the tool initially it seemed great but it soon became rubbish so got rid of it and I'll only be using the lishi type picks from now on

Really struggling to get an open with this tool. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Use lishi for work but just wanted something faster

@@sponge85029 I used mine on a polo early type 1 tumbler up 1 down and so on, I think thats how it loosened the first 2 sliding bits

ITS work well for me but ignition not because most of ignitionlocks are gen1 ....one up and one down

No even if it worked and you could turn the ignition on, the cars immobiliser would prevent the engine from starting
It does not work, tried 2 different locks HU66 gen 2. Use Lishi all the time, no problem. Shame on you MK3 that sold this for 190USD.
