- As a big AAA open world game, there's plenty going on in Watch Dogs: Legion as it is. Add to that the game's "play as anyone" mechanic and the intricate systems it creates, and Watch Dogs: Legion becomes a game with much more complexity than you'd expect.
As you begin your fight to liberate London and help its people rise up in a resistance, going in with some prior knowledge will help make the early goings a little smoother for you. An actual tip the game doesn't tell you: Take control of all areas early, Albion checkpoints will be destroyed making it easier to escape a wanted level

1. Keep scanning for potential recruits
2. Get deep profiler upgrade
3. Follow up on NPC contacts
4. Keep an eye out for tech points
5. Unlock/Upgrade spiderbot
6. Get Shroud upgrade to cameflauge enemies you've knocked out/killed
7. Cargo drones are useful to find things and navigate. Recruit a construction worker
8. For your first operative, don't stress who you pick
9. Recruit someone with uniform access
10. Recruit a Policeman and doctor. It will speed up arrest time and injury time

I'm having so much fun with this game and I'm putting together a team of operatives with the best voice acting so the cutscenes flow better. Each gameplay session is starting to feel like a netflix drama and I'm loving it LOL

I could be wrong but I think he shot the helmet and that's why she survive the shot.
The deep profiler is so useful it's near essential. It should have been part of a main mission to recruit someone who disliked Dedsec.
You do though, you have to recruit a Albion worker in one of the main missions
@@sircummeth6653 i have over 3 hours of gameplay and I barely touched the main missions yet. On my own I recruited my own albion member.
The deep profiler should be an unlockable via story then instead of costing tech points.

There's an option to not have your operatives killed off. I mean yeah they can die but you still keep them.

idk if anyone will see this but there are a couple ways to get better quick.
1. way is to do deep profile and if they have identified anyone you have to download data to win them over but instead you can take out the identified person to do this faster.
2.Get a construction worker immediately, using their drone you can get to areas that are higher up efficiently
3. Get a spy, Hitman or an Albion contractor that has the elite cloak ability these characters come with better weapons and are better for breaking into places.
4. making the areas defiant early on gives you a boost with extra powerful characters.

Man, I had so much fun with this last night. I picked the esports competitor to start, and this guy had me in stitches. He's HILARIOUS.
Nice video, thanks. My one pro tip for a first playthrough though is just roleplay - I had an absolute blast first time through not caring too much about getting the "perfect" operatives with great skill sets. Instead, if I needed to infiltrate a medical centre I just sent an agent to hang out near it until I stumbled upon someone who could get inside using a uniform. It led me to really care about some of the people I recruited and made for really great emergent gameplay and some truly unforgettable moments.
Told myself i wouldn't spend the 60. Wait for the sale I said. Well, it's downloading on my ps4 right now. Smh.

Just tech farm then unlock the drone skills. Hijacking a riot drone or setting a turret to betray and clearing out the place before my character enters the restricted area is my go to.
Fight in a bare knuckle fighting tournament it’s only 4 fights, after winning bagley will give you a list of the people you fought so you can recruit them. They have been some of my most useful operatives.
Also the whole tournament takes less than ten minutes to complete, times will vary depending on player skill and difficulty of game/enemy abilities and skills

You can pick up mask boxes with a parcel fox drone. Don’t even have to enter a restricted area

LOL I don‘t know which version you have but the game literally told me at least half of these things
I've thought of these recruitment stories for watch dogs 1 already. I remember that I felt a bit disappointed that you could only hack and interact with them and "see" their info. I wasn't really thinking of recruiting them but I remember I wished that they could give you missions like these. And now 6 year later we have that in game. Wonderful!
You can do drop down takedowns aswell lol no prompt for it that i noticed just jump on them, i vaulted when i did it.

My favorite way to take down enemies as my old ladies, you just drop down on them from above and honestly every animation for the actions old people have couldn’t be more perfect

I got extremely attached to my first op. However I was to attached. I played him as a pseudo protagonist with perma death on. I went to buckingham palace for one of my earliest side missions and didn’t know how to do it so I assumed I had to climb up not fly. And I invisibility cloaked around for a bit until I saw a door I was sure was an entrance to the objective. I charge in with invisibility on and get to the door in between guards. I get there and it’s a fake door my invisibility runs out and he gets shot and killed by royal guards.

Honestly the hardest thing I found in this game was getting those tech points. For some reason it’s pretty hard for me to find them.

Just liberate regions, tech points will show up on your map. And try to recruit map highlighted characters, I believe they give you tech point too.
I just hate going from point to point to get them

I found a character that was pretty good, but had permanent death, I thought it should be fine to play him for this mission, it wasn’t, two cars blew up near me almost instantly and died.

U can also get a barrister which is easier than getting a cop, but a barrister does the same thing but without the restricted area access

Body shots are pointless and headshots are annoying because of the handling so you abuse the lock on or just do what I do and play it like a stealth simulator and do takedowns instead

Alot of these are actually self explanatory in the game, plus the game gives a description of just about everything
One tip the game doesn't tell you is that if you want to recruit someone make sure that you do not attack them or knock them out, because doing so will make them hate dedsec and remove the possibility of recruitment.
If you buy a hero for WD Credits and got permadeath on and he would die is he gone forever and you need "buy" another hero or is he "immune" to permadeath?
I know this reply is late but, you gotta create a new game to play with that character again.
Haven't played the game yet but I'm hoping that NPC's can get captured and you can use other NPC's to bust them out. If it isn't a feature Ubisoft please make it happen then pay me.

you don't really need to use construction worker for easy heavy drone access there are drone summon pads littered all over the place you can use to call in if there aren't any floating nearby
one thing that bothers me when I play, is that I have met a wide range of characters with every accent/ethnicity possible except for one, I have never met a single American, did they all die? I Wouldn’t be surprised

I just recruited a hypnotist that can change peoples mind easily
Turn off Permadeath and play with either Aiden, Wrench, Darcy or Mina, or use all of them. Play with the character that helps with the different missions. This will feel like you have a primary set of characters! or stick with the one. I completed this game over a year ago and loved it as it showcased a scaled-down version of a very realistic London. Unfortunately it didn't go to Stratford which is further in East London.

I once put a bike on a buildont using cargo drone lol also if you put a cargo over a cargo drone you will gwt extra surface so you can climb to buoldong that is difficilt to climn on

Ignored this game since launch. Felt zero interest until I saw it on Epic for just a few dollars yesterday in fact. I am glad I waited, but glad I'm playing it. I rarely listen to podcasts/vlogs/etc in rl, and most certainly don't spend time on that shit in game . . . but in Legion I have a hard-on for them. Really immersive shit. I just tried out some random guy who was on my team automatically, and he totally beat down a guy by spraying him with paint! I was quite happy with that. lol

You can't. You can unlock more weapons but that is. 4 weapons to choose from. Unless they have their own unique weapon.

I play watch dogs legion and everyone in my team are a part of albion. The only albion operative I can't find is the elite captain. I've looked all over the map but they are nowhere to be seen.

Drew Carry spiderbot is already unlocked when you start the game. Also theres spiderbot spawn locations throughout the map (mostly where they are needed for collectibles). Only reason to actually use it from your character is for the double jump you get as a perk when upgrading your tech

I fly the Cargo Drone with my Spiderbot. I keep the Bot on top of the front right propeller, that way when I need to get something done I control the Bot and jump down. I utilize the double jump a lot because I jump from peak height so the Character doesn't get spotted in case sirens are alarmed. I utilize the double jump as the Bot is about 6 feet from the ground.
