Those Ford Fusions are really good cars and reasonably reliable. I thought about buying one before getting my Toyota and the car I got had more room. Friend of mine had a Ford Fusion that he drove for thousands of miles and it didn't really give him trouble. IIRC, it was at 250k. He would still be driving it today but got wrecked in a car accident. They do have a problem with the rack and pinion but I guess it's just the luck of the draw if you are going to get a problem car. It was really odd that a bad driver took down the coils. Or was it the coils that took down the driver in the PCM? Either way, it was a really expensive failure.
@@lucidbarrier I think it's fair to say that there are a LOT of really good cars by the vast majority of major automakers that are very good and reliable vehicles. I wish I could find a mechanic like you in Michigan. I have the same car and the same problem
No problem. You are great and having the guts to tell it like it is. I guess Bob is the owner's uncle?
You never disappoint man! Keep up the amazing work!!
That sucks, I was waiting to watch that repair😢
Mr. O.: "We're Chevy people here." And that's why we love you!
Fords just don't have the number of issues Chevys do. So follow the money. :)
@@inothome Up here, Fords rot out within the dealer warranty period and are sent to the bone yard
Eric has explained in the past that there are more GM dealers around him than other dealers, so the bulk of the vehicles he sees are GM. He has said on several occasions that he doesn't think any manufacturer is better than any other...... He does drive a Toyota though.
He only likes chevy because they keep him in buisness. Like any shop owner. Chevys are garbage.
‘Fumbly’ on Fords. Haha!
You obviously ’fumbled’ on knowing to change the spark plug packs. Customer drove away happy. Your Airbus training showed you how to replace the bolts. Seems like 100% success to me. AND a new job waiting for you at Boeing.
Watching blue bars is my day-to-day.
Eric, there was a time when silent motion pictures were ALL the rave... 5:44
Some guys that do mechanical videos I sometimes wish there was no sound.
@@LesReevesI may have seen one or two of those LOL
@@efil4kizum Watching one now🤣
Only a Ford can take down the mighty Eric's camera! Give it some retribution for me Eric!
Now u learned always try 2 use 2 cameras ir get A go pro mounted to your head or the latest go pro alternative so 2 cameras are working & therefore u have a back up system 😊
all good in the end
Great video Eric as always. No need to apologize all is good. Keep up the great work.
No problemo, still a thumbs up!
