Can someone explain after you use the trimmer you use the clippers, make a one inch guideline then you close it cutting, wouldn't that bring the line higher and what you did with the trimmer just higher?

I wouldn't recommend to use shaver, especially for black people. It can damage skin, ingrown hair, bumps
