New subscriber and current barber student. Just want to say thank you for your in depth and detailed haircut lessons. I’ve understood tapers much better now and I am performing it with my own clients at school and with my house call clients. Keep up the great content! 🙏✂️💈
You Changed my barbering career forever! I've been using your exact steps and it's been helping out a lot. Thanks a lot big bro! Keep up the grind always! You inspire me more and more with your videos.
A little constructive criticism as a person who cuts a lot of waves, gotta stop getting rid of those vertical bars then filling them in with enhancements. If you would have left those vertical bars in tact & stuck with the rainbow shape while fading the tempo, you wouldn't have went too high. Once you achieve how high you want the taper, again while avoiding the vertical bars, perform detail work at that point, instead of going higher another fingers width. That person didn't need any enhancements. Any time you're cutting the bulk with the grain, make sure you lift the bangs to see what the hairline pattern looks like. I think if you went heavy handed on everywhere else but went light handed on the front line & the receding area, they would have been darker. I would have instructed that person to let their bangs to grow out further so I wouldn't have had to push them back.
@@DuaneRomaniregardless, if the cut was just right, the enhancements would be more of a compliment cuz once they wear off, the cut will still look nice. Again, it's just a constructive criticism. Dre got it going on. Cutting waves take years to perfect. Just trying to give a few pointers, all love.
@@3nterprisevideosa high taper doesn't mean remove vertical bars. Plus with waves it's better to not go too high because you can cut too much into the waves which can affect the wave pattern. Also, he asked to be slightly pushed back due to the front hairline being light which was due to him cutting the front hairline heavy handed. When cutting with the grain on any texture, you wanna stop at least an inch or more before the front hairline then while still cutting with the grain, apply lighter pressure on the clippers to make sure you don't create light spots in the hairline.
been following you for a while bro, you are really good because i watch most of your youtube videos and itinspires me a lot and i know i can do this too
Yo Dre, So what’s going on with that process of you trying to open up a shop. I remember you mentioning you were going to vlog the process and I’m super interested in that. 🔥cut by the way, as usual.
I appreciate the honest on when you make error. That fade was still great.
