I remember seeing the announcement for this game I think 2 years back or so. It just showed the main character fighting a boss. I thought that this game would be super gimmicky, using a beautiful character for combat, kind of like those old 360/ps3 games. Then I played the demo and blew my mind. The game is actually excellent. This will be a surprise hit this year for sure.

Not really my sort of game but the combat mechanics looks good, I like her hair pin is the sword. The battle shouts don't grate at all. Quality graphics, looks very unbuggy and she's gorgeous so easy for the player to dig the goals of the game and narrative. Would I want to help her achieve her goals, absolutely. Conclusion. The studio has hit a winner and potential GOTY.

Most of the playthroughs ive seen (if they do the second boss) are around 20mins longer, because they died like 10+ times. You had no problem dealing with the enemies. Have you played like any Souls game before.? Got a bit shocked of your skill, didnt expect it.😅 Will leave a follow for future content. 🥰

The enemy special attacks with the color flashing ring require specific skills to counter or you have to evade. The gold attacks cannot be dodged or evaded and usually signal an area of effect attack you need to run away and around the enemy to avoid. I know the blue flash attack can be countered with the 'Blink' skill if you buy it. I assume each color has a set of counters in the skill tree.
You can still dodge gold attacks, but it has to be a perfect dodge. Blue attacks are countered with blink(towards the enemy plus dodge) and purple attacks are countered with repulse(away from the enemy plus dodge). Gold attacks don’t require a direction.
