Filler episodes in Z were the episodes that made you feel like you were a part of their family, though. Those are the episodes that showcase the fact that you're growing up with the characters. The episodes that shows their normal, daily lives are my favorite episodes because those are the ones that make you feel like these characters are your friends. I'm 34 now, been a fan since I was 11. I've literally grown up with these characters and I will defend the filler episodes until my dying breath. That's where the real heart of the show is at.
I did think some of the filler was pretty boring in the later seasons, or just the plot making no sense except to fill the runtime. But there were plenty of moments of levity and humour which I really enjoyed too. Idk yet if Super will do this.

Actually, the idea of Goku going originally nuts, and having Vegeta teach him how to be good is an excellent idea, I would pay money to see that.

+ds37 The show doesn't suck at all. There are some pacing issues right now, but I still prefer it over GT. If you're complaining about the quality of the drawings, those should be fixed when the blue-rays are released.
Ironmaiden654 The pacing is way too slow, I don't know if it's a throwback to DBZ (some power ups were like 2 episodes long), the quality of the animation so far has been shamefully average compared to today's standards and the voice acting wasn't particularly inspired either. It's been forgettable for me. One Punch Man on the contrary is definitely the battle anime of the year for me so far.

normally i would watch japanese audio when i watch anime. but when it comes to Dragon Ball, i would still prefer english dub. i blame these two (and the other VA) because of that. cant wait for english dub DBS.

Meeting Chris Sabat on Steve Blum’s live V/O class was awesome, Chris also runs Okratron 5000 which is the sound company that worked on Borderlands 2 (this I didn’t know until the class lol), he’s a really down to earth guy

Best answer in my opinion. Pan and Bra never got the Power, Story Development and Action they deserve. and I hope to see more female Saiyans in the future and not just those two. It'll make for some interesting character picks in video games.

Man, Sean was born to play Goku. The shift from Ocean dub to Funimation was weird at first during the Namek saga, but damn the characters, and their voice actors, grow on you.
