As a correction.. all karate are based of foundational Chinese kungfu like winchun as ancient chinese taught Okinawa indigenous ppl back in the days. Which then got popular in mainland Japan back in Shogun era.
After I learn to fight pretty well I thought little of it. The reason for that is first I lost friends, then people tried me and I was unhappy. I initially learned not to fight but to enjoy a martial art.
Not saying he was the best fighter in the world but Bruce Lee did have skills you can just tell just by looking at him in action not to mention that explosive speed which power would come out of that . I’m positive that he was a great martial artist .

I have a question I hope you can answer in the movie of Bruce Lee, the Chinese connection. I think that's the name of that movie. When he fought the Russian well, he did This move with his hands and his hands were moving in that really weird pattern where it was like a blur. How did the movie studio execute that special effect. The movie i'm talking about specifically is the one where they killed his teacher and he came home in the white suit and he Avenged his teacher's death. And fought the whole Japanese school. While fighting the russian, his hands did that really weird pattern where it was multiple hands moving in a blur. So if you could explain to me, how did the movie Studio do that special effect with his hands like that? I really would like to have that break down about Bruce.
I remember Larry Lee. There's been MANY actors who were co-stars to BOTH Bruce Lee & Bruce LI. The head instructor at Bruce's school in Chinese Connection. He returned to that role in Fist ot Fury 2 with Bruce LI as Lee's brother getting revenge on the Japanese for his.death. Bolo (although him & Li RARELY been in the same 🎥) started in 1 🎥!!
Durable? You mean he competed in some events that required stamina or that he didn't get injured while competing? Nothing he did needed him to be durable because he didn't compete.
@@Hammer1978Yah you right some people take it too far he was the best. Actually, Bruce was very talented fighter / martial artist and to be feared because of his blinding speed and vast knowledge of many disciplines. And trained seriously how to survive the streets NOT FOR TOURNAMENT . He was the real deal , but true fans know Bruce was NOT unbeatable. Remember, the flip side, there’s jealous and racist haters towards Bruce. Us Asians are very aware of this.
I saw Highlander first and Duncan McClouds katanna, is what started my martial arts fascination. seagull influenced, dam influenced. Chuck Norris and texas ranger, power rangers. Then I started watching Asian martial arts, then the power rangers started to look like dancers more than martial artists. Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Tony Jaa are my favorites
Definitely Bruce Lee. I only get to know Li Jun-kun from your clip today :) No. He's too stiff. In fact, Karate is only efficient with their mind-power focus training and general conditioning otherwise too rigid to be fundamentally effective in real combat.
When anybody create game about Lee!!!!!!???? Why nobody try to use such great potential for creating great game with deep storyline, not just fight in mortal combat style but game in movie style
Bruce Lee is one of the most iconic pop cultural personas , but it needs to be distinguished the difference between martial artist, martial artist actor and martial artist a fighter. Bruce Lee was an actor martial artist who knew perfectly how to represent him self to wider audience. He definitely had an extraordinary charisma and talent, but he also sticked to his domain, which was entertainment industry. He did invest alot in his athleticism and agility but not in order to test him self against other martial artists or fighters, but to improve his ability to a higher level in order to look the best he can as a performer in martial arts action movies. Guys like benny urquiedes or don wilson were real fighters and martial artist who sucessfully made their careers in movies also. Even Jim Kelly was way sucessfull as an martial artist then Bruce Lee, and that panel where he said that Bruce Lee was unbetable was his respect to all Bruce Lee fans around the world, and his respect to Bruce Lee's family and legacy as an pop cultural icon, who indeed like you said have bridged the gap between east and west.
Bruce Lee was a fighter not in the sense of a professional competitor but one who if pressed could fight and win even against others who were just as skilled in their own right

Thanks and please keep it coming. I heard Bruce Lee was attacked once in an Airport in the US, which made is back injury much worse. Haven't had much about this incident..... Was briefly cover in the movies Bruce Lee, the Myth the Legend...or a similar title
When Bruce lee flexing his chest and shoulders reminded me of a cobra hood since i was a young kid
you got some details. wow.
respect.
People have no idea how it was back then. You couldn't just SAY you were a fighter. People tested you constantly, and you PROVED you were a fighter. Especially in Seattle and New York.
Back then it was a different world. People didnt threaten to sue or cry...it was shut up like a b@#$ or fight!
@@Robd07 Yup! I remember we used to lock the door to the school. Whoever won the fight got to unlock the door and walk out the victor. People have NO idea!
@@Kcseales now its...if i get hurt im suing you forever with my phone on speed dial
Amazing!!👍🏻👍🏽👍
An absolutely true story.
Awesome video. I didn't know he enlisted in military?
Congratulations on your new training studio.
When people say," he hit me so many times I thought i was surrounded" that is what it was like fighting Bruce Lee
when did you fight Bruce ?
That's right. There are lots of clips and photos of him dancing the cha cha. This would have given yet another edge to his martial arts skills.
Not saying he was the best fighter in the world but Bruce Lee did have skills you can just tell just by looking at him in action not to mention that explosive speed which power would come out of that . I’m positive that he was a great martial artist .
Good video always love learning real things about Bruce Lee that I never knew honestly is great how informative on him but also Bruce Lee was human jus like everyone else like we all have flaws damn the hateful comments are real smh
Вышла книга Джон Литл ,, ярость дракона,, там много информации о реальных боях Брюс Ли. Так много можно теперь выпустить новых роликов о Брюс Ли. Это хорошо.
The Man the lejand. Rest in peace. What else can you say init. Respect.
Bruce Lee proves the adage: the brightest flame burns the quickest.
So many haters in this comment section. Probably couldn't even beat an 18 year old Bruce 😂
Если бы Брюс Ли не побили в детстве, то он не занялся бы Винг Чунг. Если бы боксёр не побили Брюс Ли в США, то он бы верил в Винг Чунг и не создал бы Джит Кун до.
Hey Goldenbell, what's your source for those Larry Lee quotes? Can you link to the interview or provide a citation?
Are we talking kowloon fights soon?! Nice!
Bruce Lee No1 martial arts fighter actor hero handsham gentilman talented honesty man forever ever
Interesting!
Actually, Danny Inosanto said that along with Wing Chun and Wu style Tai Chi, Bruce Lee also had studied Bak Fu Pai and Choy Li Fut.
You can almost see some form of energetic flow around his body... Unexplainable.
I love paranormal programs and one especially mrballen and ex navy seal. You and him have that same way of story telling were you tell a story in such away it's natural and enjoyable
Брюс Ли не дошел до сокровища в фильме ,, игра смерти,, , он показал , что не успел освоить все секреты духовного кунг-фу.
Ooooh! I wanna see these!
Яростный кулак. Это похоже из стиля Тай Чи?
Right on
I remember Larry Lee.
Noone ever talks about how durable he was, only about his speed or hypothetical skills.
Durable? You mean he competed in some events that required stamina or that he didn't get injured while competing? Nothing he did needed him to be durable because he didn't compete.
@@vlada hence the reason I laugh when people say he was the best. One good Crack from someone would really determine how tough he was.
@@vladano he did not
@@Hammer1978Yah you right some people take it too far he was the best.
Brucelee was a genius and creator of martial art or self defense, hats off to our legends
Chinese names of some people mentioned in the video are 李錦坤(the Goju Ryu Master), 余明(Bruce's brother-in-law) and 鄭君綿.
When anybody create game about Lee!!!!!!???? Why nobody try to use such great potential for creating great game with deep storyline, not just fight in mortal combat style but game in movie style
So you had to reupload for whatever reason, I understand so say less 😎👌👌👌
Fun thanks
Just a little thing; "Ryu" is pronounced "Roo".
So how do You clean it all up?
Bruce Lee was an extraordinary marital artist of his eara...
Can you do and episode on Bruce Lee and Jackie Chans relationship?
Bruce Lee was a fighter not in the sense of a professional competitor but one who if pressed could fight and win even against others who were just as skilled in their own right
@@Historylover94 he could defend him self, nobody denies that, but also he wasn't what vast majority of ordinary people thinks he was
