- Here's the High-Grade 1/144 scale Full Armor Gundam [Gundam Thunderbolt Anime Version]. Well, it looks like it's just gonna be a brick kit, but it definitely isn't! You can load it up with all that extra stuff and still pull off some awesome poses! That's a winner in my book!

I love the thunderbolt design....
i think it is one of the best re-imagine of the original design...
Plus a butt load of accessories
I'm happy it comes with a stand. I wish every kit did.
I can only imagine how much of a monster the MG Psycho Zaku will be
if the beam saber effects for this one is 1/100 just imagine if there's an HG atlas gundam

I've always wondered: If you had problems leaning the Gundam forward on the base, and it turns out you could stabilize the Gundam by leaning it backwards on the stand, couldn't you have gotten a forward leaning flying pose by just mounting the stand... backwards?

i loved the last pose u gave it lol and the mg verion of this is worth building if you have many expierence if not dont bother trust me lol
Hope the mg comes with a core fighter, if it does it better be the one with the 3 section fold up wings
I haven't tried it yet but if your sleeves rip I've heard the finger of a latex glove will work I was going to test it out on my psyco kit coming soon
Despite it being sticker heavy, the stickers don't seem that bad unlike most other kits. The worst ones to apply imo it seems to be the ones on the waist. Everything else seems pretty flat and easy, as for the shelf its a big piece so that should be simple. All people really need with this kit is patience when applying stickers, hell if I ever get this kit one day i know what I'm getting myself it(thanks to the video obviously)

I have the manga art one. Trigger hands are fiddly on those as well.
The antenna on the head kinda reminds me of the gp-01
I believe thunderbolt took place during the one year war 0079 and before stardust memory so the gpo1 was technically most likely designed after this gundam

I need a bit of help. The peg on the stand for this kit broke off, and is stuck inside the hole on the underside of the Gundam. Any ideas on how to remove it?
Cr33p3rKid drill it out, that peg is done. Make a new peg with a piece of runner and glue it where the original peg was.
ZakuAurelius Well, i don't have the runners for the kit anymore. Is this kit compatible with a 1/144 Action Base 2?
Cr33p3rKid yes. You don't need THESE runners, just cut a bit of the correct size from any runner you have around.
ZakuAurelius I don't have any spare runners at all, but i'll do what you suggested and get an Action Base 2 for this. Thank you!

Metallic paint or paint the eyes silver then apply a coat of clear paint

This kit looks like it needs a bit of lining done. I personally do not like the colors of this kit as I'm colorblind and have a hard time with the color separation here. A brighter red or a more matte blue would've helped but I also would have liked to see less white on the kit. That said this kit looks awesome and all the accessories you get look great, not to mention how badass it looks with all of that gear. I heard there will be an MG and I may look forward to that.

i would like to know as well :) but from his facebook live he uses modeling knife to remove nubs
+Lightning Flash Personally I use a nail file, but a really small one. Also, its preferred :)
Yeah when I'm just snapping kits initially for review I mostly use a knife, and sanding stick when needed. But before painting I go back and give them good sanding with some sandpaper/stick.

Ghost Warrior 38 all high grades are molded in their correct colours, Zaku just likes to paint his kits.

Eh~ I'd seriously doubt it. Unless you had it in some sort of action pose crouched down and leaning forward perhaps.

+ultimatepower Yeah, it's from the UC universe, named Gundam Thunderbolt. There is a manga series and recently it was adapted into anime. I recommend you watching the anime; the animation quality is very, very good!
Gundam Thunderbolt set in UC timeline during one year war. The best Gundam Anime so far.

You can take it off but the kit can’t stand well on its own
MG is pretty expensive but i am looking forward to it if not im fine with RX-78 3.0
i hope they use some of the rx78 origin frame
I honestly do not have any RX-78 MG kits yet so i would not know but i hear it is a good inner frame.
It might be a whole new frame, since it's a Ver.Ka kit. But we'll see!

Oh also, i have the same issue as you, where the left trigger hand doesn't stay together while holding the Missile Pods. I don't know exactly why, but it may be the size of the handle itself might be too large.

The only thing different is this kit has marking stickers.The manga ver doesnt come with that
The molded colors are slightly different, mostly the red is a very slightly different tone.
if the sticker sheet is still available, i would like to have it... though i'm from the Philippines... i have a manga version of this kit but i hate the small red foil stickers... overall, i love this kit!
The stickers are a deal breaker for me tho, as I’m not a painter

You don't HAVE to paint any of them. Painting is always optional. But painting does always make the kit look better ^^

Yes. All Gunpla is snap together, except for very old Gunpla from the 1980's.

A decent base to make the original FA Gundam. I rather have the original over this but this can get you close.
Jociaoftrades I noticed that if you remove the Shield and extra T-Piece from the Beam Rifle and it closely resembles the FA's Beam Rifle. I just wish Bandai would release an official HG or RG Version of it

I don't know. i just don't like the look of this HG full armor gundam.. i think the backpack connector look awkward if u see it from side and from the front it like someone carry mountain bag, seem too high. And some other things i can't describe into words. I just feel this is not right for 2016 HG kits. It kinda feel like early 2000 kits. But, hey that's just my opinion ✌

Dylan100ization admittedly the one person I wanted to live through Thunderbolt Was Daryl. but the say Lo was a douche is over simplifying it. do you think he was like that before or after his Colony got wiped out? before or after he found his dad shot in the head? he's really not that bad of a guy but as he said the battlefield has control of him
