Lee Gallop I suggest getting HGUC GM Striker sometime (use the stickers they are pretty good surprisingly), Döven Wolf, HGUC Byarlant custom, HGUC GM ground type, HG origin Marine type Gundam
I feel like the javalin NEEDS you to do a set up with the subarms holding shields and maybe the gun. It provides a nice visual balance that offsets how much you are putting forward with the arms. It also looks practical. Have a shield and gun on stand by, and this gundam can drop that spear and switch to any other standard combat style at the drop of the hat- Something it actually uses in the show where it switches to a beam saber and a gouf catches the spear.
I'm sold on this kit! It looks well balanced for an HG and that backpack. Just love the look of this gundam. Haven't seen it in action yet but liking it a lot!
It's a little more realistic, in line with Thunderbolt as opposed to the normal Universal Century universe. You didn't think that two tiny thruster bells could let a heavily armored ground suit jump, did you? Most normal space suits in UC lack a realistic RCS implementation as well.
The original Ground Type Gundam is still my favorite design to this day, and I'll be damned if I don't pick up on every variant out there... but for this I'll probably wait it out a bit. It's a good design in it's own right, but it just barely has more than a passing resemblance to the original, and the blue and white color scheme just doesn't do enough for me like the grey and brown would have.

Unexpected advantage- the handles for the subarms make a perfect addition to your toolkit. Seriously. I am sure everyone here has had a time or two when you were trying to get a polycap into its holes, but you felt you couldn't get your fingers in there at the right angle to both apply pressure and line it up at the same time. this handle comes with a standard peg, which means you can have an additional grip on that poly cap from a different angle. And if the other side of the arm/leg doesn't line up quite right with the polycap, you can use this handle to wiggle things around to try to get a good fit. This advantage is somewhat unit to this kind of handle, since the typical clip to put shields onto arms is more asymmetrical, and it was not designed around being a 'grip'. This is literally shapped like a grip, and that helps to make it more easily grabbed and controlled.
Made a zanny with parts of this kit. And chars revive zaku and thunderbolt gm plus a origin act zaku . Let's just say I had to destroy the waist balljoint in order for it to work.had to clip a thick runner stick and shove it up the action base hole. Rest of it I used for a space gundam. And the rest of the parts are in a ziplock
Really liking this kit, will have to wait a while since its still in my private warehouse. I really dislike the yellow tone though.. seems like a simple repaint is not hard though. Thanks for the review. this is a good video length for an in-depth review for this type of a kit. I know some people have mentioned videos being too long..don't agree at all. Neat outro but I would have like it better if you kept swinging and never jumped off.
I would do the space legs, mod the main back pack to use the extra arms to hold a second set of shields, mount gattling gun barrels at the bottom underside of all shields and thrusters to make then also work as funnel / dragoons like how the unicorn gundam has the gattling shields as a optional weapon, and hip rail guns with extra underarm mounts for spare beam sabers and a second beam rifle and paint it in the rx 78-1 or rx 78-ntx color scheme and maybe use the strike or grandpa gundam head cause better sensors on the head.

Yellow marker on white plastic should work fine. I’d still recommend letting the paint out of the marker and using a brush to apply it to the kit though
This doesn't really apply to anything and you may not like the series, but is there any way you could do a review on the 1/100 no grade kits from the second season of Gundam 00? Especially the lead suits like Seravee, Arios and Cherudim. The latest review is possibly 7 years ago for those kits and I would kinda like to see a review in your format. Those reviews are fine but boy oh boy would I like to see them in HD. Thanks!
It might be a hovercraft. It is a ground type- it works against gravity and the ground often. It wouldn't be unusual. The Dom's big stupid legs are hovercrafts too.

Yellow marker on white plastic should work fine. I’d still recommend letting the paint out of the marker and using a brush to apply it to the kit though
