One dropped pass does not make someone a bust
exactly
that pass was a little high as well lol, not even entirely on him, and its the beginning of practice...
@@Fro609 exactly
Trolls 😂
didn’t jamaar chase have drop issue early on too people be tripping
“We talkin bout practice “
Practice? Practice 😅😅
😂😂😂😂😂😂 made my day😅
Not a game, not a game but practice...😂😂😂
💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im the mvp the greatest of all time and u talking bout practice?😂😂😂😂
not only is he a rookie, in rookie training camp, but that ball was DEFINITELY a bit high too😂
A bit high for him😂
@@Spacetime_Odyssey7 yeah to bad they didn’t get Brian Thomas
Exactly
As a former QB “if you touch it with two hands you can catch it”😂 but drops are gonna happen no matter how talented and trained you are
I wish you guys stop making excuses for some rookie things such as this. It’s catching a ball for gods sake, in practice at that( no defender zeroing in to bust you up😂). Catching the ball at all levels is the same 😂
Rashee Rice, Henry Ruggs, Aaron Hernandez, and OJ Simpson all dropped passes and were phenomenal players
maybe good players but not good people.
Some might say that they had off the field issues but I don’t really see it
Aaron and OJ got railroaded
But Ruggs was just way too fast, hernandez was just too cold blooded, OJ knew how to evade
And Brett farve threw incomplete passes as well
Patrick Mahomes threw dozens of INTS when he went to his rookie OTAs. X isn’t perfect. And like Coach said “Now is the time to make your mistakes.”
Should've said now is the time to per-FECT your craft..
Patrick’s a bust 😂
@@jrunior31 Listen I’m not a chiefs fan die hard packers fan but calling Patrick mahomes a bust is completely wrong being 24 when he won his first Lombardi with Kc winning multiple conference championships and winning back to back sb I don’t think mahomes is a bust yes he has a good team around him but in the end him and Andy Reid are calling most of the shots
@@SonLukaEdits bust
I would hope nobody with actual sense would try to label anyone a "bust" before they have even played their first preseason game.
Those people are dumb. They don’t have sense if they actually call someone a bust without even playing his first game
Oh you mean like how people labeling Caleb Williams a bust because he painted his nails and plays for CHI?
Like yall do Caleb Williams
@@nagille6731 What "ya'll"? Have I said anything bad about Caleb? Thought not.
Even preseason- jamar chase was getting called a bust cuz dropped passes during preseason…he’ll adjust…i bet its the change in ball velocity and anticipated throws by mahomes, it comes quicker than what he was getting from ewers, he’ll adjust.

Like yall calling Caleb Williams a bust without 1 season in nfl
Derrick Henry fr said if i cant run around them then ill run through them💀🙏
I remember Jamar Chase had like 4 drops during the preseason his rookie year and people said the same thing about him.
i just said that 👌🏽
He's a bust!
@@michaelwilkerson500This has got it be bait. Anybody who watches football knows Jamaar Chase is an elite WR, whether you hate or love the Bengals.
Im talking about worthy@@SillyBobo190
lol you compared worthy to chase

Great points

Bold of you to assume sports fans don't play sports lol
Thought I heard good new for my Raiders 😢
Dropping a pass at practice is fine. It's called "practice" for a reason.
True
So dropping a simple Pass in Practice is Ok when you're not even in Practice or lining up against anyone? He had drop issues in college and is having drop issues in practice.... It's damn sure gnna happen in real games🤣
@@couragethecowardlyzack so you're perfect in everything you do? Its practice lol...
@@davidbinz2500 LMao Bruhh tell me your feelings are hurt without telling me your feelings are hurt🤣
He literally had drop issues in college which was one of his main weaknesses in the draft.
Ong the people calling him a bust can't catch a cold from an nfl qb trust me as an up incoming college athlete Xavier Worthy will improve mistakes happen trust me he will learn from them and give it his all
Like yall say Caleb Williams a bust right before 1 nfl game
Drop issues in college
Drop issues in practice
Usually means drop issues in NFL games🤣🤦
Is English your second language?
@@gabeswitala2292 Dyslexic is his 1st language
These are probably the same people calling Bryce Young a bust after one rookie season, even though his team around him was horrible. They just say “bust” with no reasoning.
(Also I’m not a panthers fan defending Bryce, I am a Bengals fan btw)
Just look They calling Williams A Bust I'm Like Dang he just got 2 Chicago these ppl just be talking
He had one of the worst Olines. I never understood why organizations do that either .
He dropped the ball in PRACTICE?!?! Cut him.. you MUST catch every single ball in PRACTICE!!
FR I’m pretty sure Jerry Rice caught every single pass at practice
It was more a tip than a drop, since it kinda bounced off his fingertips. I think he was really concentrating on the footwork aspect of that particular drill, which caused him to get his hands up just a little late. Once he’d had a chance to do it a few more times, he didn’t drop anything after that.
LMAO S tier comment
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 just say you a chiefs fan he definitely dropped it off his finger tips any coach will tell you the ball touch your hands you catch it simple
@@thehandyfamily4807 if you played football you would know what it’s like to catch a football. Look at his college highlights
Don't worry KC fans. He IS indeed Worthy
He dropped like 3 passes in 1 game in his collage year
FR
@@StefonProdzand?
@@wereadbooks381And he's telling you that Worthy had drop issues in college & is having them now in Zero contact Practice.... You think he'll be fine with DB's actually covering him?
@@couragethecowardlyzack Worthy did not have drop issues in college. He was a stud. Yeah, he flubbed a couple, but dude is one of the best hand catchers I've seen.
Rashee rice turned out fine on the field... not so much off the field.
Yeah.....
Need to get it together asap
Worthy’s still my guy. Go Chiefs!
for your sake i hope he is because rashee rice may not play again
@@purpleak155 I think it’s going to be okay, Mahomes have proven that he can win with whoever he’s got.
And swift is your girl. 👏
@jamesbarnhart1232 Okay I'll be civil & respectful but more than this, I'm going to be honest. Xavier Worthy isn't as fast as advertised.
His fastest 100m time is only a 10.65. This doesn't even put him in the top 70 fastest men in NFL history.
The NFL combines is very inaccurate bc the start is hand motion timed. Let me explain.
Xavier bent his elbow at the start, which allowed his body start his running motion without the clock starting rendering him a head start which shaved hundreds of seconds off of his time. Xavier is more or less about a 4.4 guy, which is still very fast for football but extremely slow compared to the real fastest men in NFL history.
If you think I'm full of it, there's a very good video on YT explaining how Xavier manipulated his 40 yard time start. It's all hype to sell the NFL. Xavier is nowhere near as fast as he's been sold to us on.
@@biggalaxy9102 That’s your opinion and I’ll return the respect and say we will soon see.
Oh my God, what are they thinking that he’s never gonna drop a pass the whole entire season never ever ever🤪
Arm chair wide receivers couldn't catch a cold in a blizzard..
But crying about a ROOKIE dropping one pass then calling him a bust...
People are insane.
Good one 👍
Damn bro it's just camp chill out😂
So shouldn't he be catching every pass that hits his hands? If he can't catch passes in practice or college how's he gnna do it in an actual NFL game?
He should but everyone is calling him out before preseason or before week 1
@@BadBunnyTwin Bro he had MAJOR drop issues in college and it's already happening to him in practices so how are you not seeing a literal pattern?
Drop issues in college+Drop issues in contactless practices= Drop issues in games
Well that's just college

You think the NFL is easier??🤣💀😭
I think he's going to be a dog

Wow, that hit him in the hands and now it's bad pass. Casuals
@@michaelwilkerson500 okay but it was still high :/
Darrick Henry out there looking like Chris Farley in a SNL skit runnin them drills
We all have PTSD
brother you won the superbowl
@@qu3en11yt6not from how our season ended, by how our receivers played
Your chief suck you get messed up in the asshole this year. You’re gonna lose this year watch.
Remember when Malcolm butler got burned on multiple slant routes in practice, but caught that interception to win the Super Bowl. Practice and games are totally different. It’s practice, it matters more on the big stage.
-49ers fan.
Same thing happened to Jamar Chase when he was a rookie, bro kept dropping passes before the season started then bro ended up winning offensive rookie of the year and went to the Super Bowl 😂😂
That clip of Henry is comical.
says jags fan… it was funny ngl
If he doesn't live up to his last name, that would be the funniest thing I've ever seen
“rashee rice turned out fine” 💀
Having horrible hands is a bigger issue when your 123 Pounds
The only think rice isn’t dropping are his charges 💀💀💀💀
They never mention the regular field helpers that are throwing the balls to them, most of them are not Professional QUARTERBACKS, so the balls thrown are not exactly going to be in perfect direction to be caught, like the one Worhty didn’t catch because *IT WAS THROWN WAY TOO HIGH* not Worthy’s fault!!!!!!
Practice. We talking about practice. Not in a game in a crucial moment. We talking about practice
Xavier Worthy is a good receiver. Saw him a few times while at Texas. The guy can play.
I stand with Harrison Butker!!✝️✝️
I am a Texas longhorns fan, This guy is a serious threat, he is very fast and GREAT with his hands. I ABSOLUTELY HATE that he is going to the chiefs like they need another weapon, but he’s going to have a great career and I’m happy for him.
I don’t even really want the chiefs to win the Super Bowl, but I do want to see their receiving core look good for mahomes.
Derrick Henry said “I’m here to run over things not around them” 😂
Rare sighting of him complimenting a bengals player
He’s already becoming a Chiefs receiver😂
It’s called practice for a reason 😂
The Derrick Henry clip always makes me laugh 😂😂😂...bro don't need any feet drills, he just stiff-arms people to other dimensions
Man as a Longhorns fan I actually do worry about Worthy and not because of this video. I think if a lot of Chiefs fans had actually seen Longhorns games last year they would have gotten frustrated with Worthys drops and wouldn’t be as high on him
I’m a Longhorn fan, I was hoping my Cowboys would draft him, but the Chiefs heard that’s what was gonna happen and they traded up one spot ahead of the Cowboys to draft worthy. Very smart move because this guy is going to be a superstar !!!!
jerry rice look at him played his rookie szn dropped several passes in games he kept working then he became one of the best wrs to ever play
Chiefs fans can’t complain after two straight Super Bowls
Yea cause Mahomes came in the clutch our WRs gotta do better.
Yes, I would imagine that the trauma from a super bowl winning season is devastating. I'm still healing from when my Eagles won in 2017
Rashes def came out just fine 😂
They said the same thing about Jmarr and now he’s one of the top receivers in the league
He is not a bust. One dropped pass doesn’t mean he’s going to be a bust, and the pass was not from Mahomes.
I think most coaches agree that if you aren’t making mistakes you probably aren’t trying. I box, I could look really good if I lowered my training’s intensity but I like to push it so I learn more.
Bro dropped one pass that boy ran a 4.1 in the draft that boy is a goat
I remember they said this about Jamaar Chase before his rookie season 😂 they said a Biletnikoff award winner miraculously couldn’t catch in a span of a couple months 💀
The internet was a mistake. Mfs can’t even make mistakes in the one place literally designated for you to make mistakes without getting flamed online
Raw Talent Dont Need Drills
That PTSD got them worried
Chad likes bananas
He might not be a bust but Ad Mitchell is still better, the fact that he got drafted round 2 while worthy got drafted round 1 amazes me
Lmao he said rice turned out fine
As a life long Pats fan when we had Brady there wasn't a *single* preseason report that had me worried. Chiefs fans should feel the same way long as Mahomes has arms and an arrow head on his uniform
Smh man this is why I’ll always say this generation of athletes need more respect they didn’t even post drops back in the day from practice now it’s vital for OTA’s the mental strength they need is crazy
Let's take in context how bad that pass was. Kid is a stud.
One drop is not a drop issue plus I have watched Xavier for a while and I know he's a great receiver with excellent route runner and yes good hands...
Some fans will hold players to standards that they selves could never come close to achieving. I watch this young man play three years at Texas. He’s going to have a great career. Haters are going to hate
Xavier Worthy is insane. he played for Texas and that’s my fav team so he’s def one of my favorite players.
Timing is everything. King Pat will get him going. DO NOT give up quick on this kid! He has SO MUCH potential! Reid's system is very extensive and has lots of moving parts. Time and patience... you'll see. IN VEACH WE TRUST! 3PEAT in the making 👑 lesssggooooo
Imagine calling someone a bust who is getting paid to play football and you gotta clock in to make biscuits at Hardee's tomorrow.
The difference is Worthy had MAJOR drop issues in college. It's just practice, but catching passes with DB's on you like glue in an actual game is a lot harder then catching a simple Pass in Practice
Reminds me of old raiders WR Jacoby Ford. Dude was lightning fast and athletic and but would drop in the clutch. Concrete blocks for hands sometimes
This young man caught 135 passes over his past two seasons at Texas, most of those coming from Quinn Ewers, who is expected to be a top 3 pick next season.
It's crazy how much influence the media has over people.
"unhealed trauma" I'm a Superbowl season...lol
None of you make any mistakes in your jobs! You are all perfect and your supervisors are in love with you.
The person that recorded this could have uploaded when he was catching the ball, he knew the drop would get more attention.. 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️😂😂
He's gonna be Xplosive in that system..he was one of my fav wide outs in the draft
Yall leave Worthy alone he’s going to be a Beast out there when the season starts. In the words of Alan Iverson
PRACTICE !! PRACTICE!!!
Some fans are so quick to criticize someone for something they couldn't dream about doing.
This is why its called PRACTICE..... again, we're talking about... PRACTICE! 😁
They said the same thing about Ja’Marr Chase when he dropped three passes in a preseason game.
Why would they have trauma from last year?? They won the Super Bowl
These drops are going to happen for x during his rookie season. As a texas longhorns fan, i know his hands aren't the best, chiefs fans need to be patient. High work ethic, elite playmaker
we use to it as texas fans 😂
As a Bengals fan him & Hollywood are a little scary.
His highlights from college taking short passes to the house looked explosive.
They said the same thing about Jamar chase when he dropped passes in his rookie camp. He then went on to win offensive rookie of the year.
that ball was coming in hot AF😮
In the word of Nadeen... Simma Down, Nah!!!!😂😂😂
That Derrick Henry rookie clip just crushed his HOF chances 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️ I’m trolling so gtf
That's why it's called practice. He's learning. He's thinking about other stuff besides just catching. It takes a while to get up to speed.
Ain't no way Derrick Henry haven't been doing that drill since the 6th grade😂
Track speed is great for one thing, running track, not catching footballs.
Calling Xavier Worthy a bust this early is like judging a movie after the opening credits. Patience, folks!
Trauma after winning the Super Bowl is crazy
Man needs to keep a jugs machine real close.
Sometimes I hate social media
Bro did the brock loop
It‘s all over for the Chiefs franchise. Rip
People don’t realize catching the ball on a route isn’t just about hands. It’s timing between the qb and receiver. If he’s not in synch with the qb yet he doesn’t know exactly when the qb is going to release the throw or how hard he’s going to throw it. With hundreds of reps he will instinctively know as soon as he sees the ball when and where he needs to get his hands even if the throw is a little off or a little early. With his talent he’s not dropping perfect passes but it takes time to be in tune enough with the qb to know what the balls going to do as soon as he sees it even if it’s not exactly where it’s supposed to be. Thats why defensive backs drop more interceptions than receivers drop passes
There’s nothing dumber than trying to decide if a player is good or not before they even go full contact.
