I have a 2008 Mercedes s450 4matic. For some time now, my stereo does not store my audio settings. My reverse mirror does come return to the original position. Basically the car does not store any memory. I investigated and was told to buy a secondary auxiliary battery but I do not know where it is located. I went to mercedes and I was told the small battery is under the hood (bonnet) but they did not tell me specifically where it was located. Please can you show me where to locate the small battery. It is a small battery, the size of a big cell phone. Thanks.
@@c.h.r.i.s2253 I looked at the driver side dash but I could not find it. Please is there any suggestion. Mercedes said it is in the hood but they did not tell me where in the hood it is located.
@@pattakora the small battery is under driver's side dash behind the little "door" covering the fuses on the side of the dash when you open the door.you need to take the small fuse box out

I have 2007 S350 and I cannot find my tiny aux battery anywhere in the car pls help.
Not in the dash not in passenger foot well , not in the trunk.
If you have a 2007 I don’t think you have the tiny aux battery in the driver side of the dash.

My battery light stays on in my 1997 S550 I even replaced both batteries but still didn’t fix it
