Definitely feel like Slitherfangs, Tiderippers, Dreadwings, and Tremortusks need more sites! I love to just watch them in their state and I kinda wish they didn't just go around in circles.
I thought the Slitherfang's primary purpose was to destroy buildings and turn them into rubble considering that nature has to thrive and the old world has been deemed unworthy of the new age, hence why tons of cities in HZD/HFW are gone now. Its kinda sad that they're just combat on the notebook. I really wish the Notebook added the expanded uses of these machines like the Stormbird being a catalyst to control the weather or Dreadwing being the carrier of the supposed metal flower contingency plan but the notebook never mention those lore.
Agreed! I wish there were more datapoints on the history of the machines and their intended purposes. It would also be pretty cool to stumble upon a Slitherfang in the wild in the process of demolishing an old-world ruin

They totally dropped the ball there. Every Machine page should have at least a few sentences telling about it's purpose and lore.
It might have had that purpose in the past. The stalker is another machine that has had its original function altered to that of a combat one.

Right?! I’m glad we encounter them numerous times through the main story, but I do wish there were more than just desert-biome sites. Maybe the jungle?

@@vitery6099 yeah! I wish there were more machine sites other than the desert biome! I don’t want to spoil anything but a certain mission does have a Slitherfang on a beach… but it doesn’t respawn outside the mission
@@unknown_2552 and i dont know be nice to have more machines sites for the new boss machines then the thunderjaw. they are lovely and all but i wanna fight the other boss machines as well.

Awesome video as usual! The Sliterfang is also one of my favorite machines to fight, but also one of the more difficult ones to fight as well! How about you do a classic Horizon machine - get the Stormbird in there! Man, a Stormbird can be a real big pain.
Thanks! I found it one of the hardest machines to fight just due to it having such small weak spots that are constantly moving. Especially playing on harder difficulties! I’m definitely going to revisiting some classic Zero Dawn machines, Stormbird and Thunderjaw included! I also want to cover the Scorcher and Fire/Frostclaws
@@unknown_2552 Yea. How about doing a video telling players where UNMARKED machine sites are? During my course of playing HFW, I have run into a number of large combat machines in un-marked areas of the map. Some if not all of them have been total surprise's for me. I'm sure you have run across complete total surprise machine encounters with Apex machine predators and had no idea they were there. Right?
Maybe doing a video on these unmarked sites as a warning will help players on the harder difficulties. I know there are unmarked machine sites in the map and outside of it.

The one machine which is annoying is the shellsnapper which is a pain sometimes

Great video! Feels almost like a mini wildlife documentary. Would like to see a combat tips portion added in because these things are tough to kill.
this is so cool! I love the new machines, but this giant snake is my favorite. What a terrifying machine! Maybe we get a giant spider machine in the 3rd game? It would be cool and terrifying at the same time. I hate spiders. XD Anyway, if we don't get that, at least I really want to see a giant Horus machine in action!
It’s pretty darn cool! I love the design of the machines they added for Forbidden West. I too hope they add some kind of Arachnid/Insect machine in the DLC or sequel even! I totally think we’re going to see a HORUS in action at some point!
Maybe some kind of centipede would be cool too! Hopefully in the next game we can get some more mounts, even though I am very happy we got a flying mount
I did the Kulrut quest and arena challenges but still no slitherfangs spawning on the map.
I wish the big mechines Wolud cross paths. Witb oke another like I’d love to see deathbringer and slither gang fight lol. Or thunderjaw and tideripper

I love the Slitherfang. Really happy they did not get the Rockbreaker boulder spitting attack.
They still kept the Rockbreaker spitting attack.
@@henrymugello3387 I do not recall seeing the Slitherfang using this attack. The Rollerback can boulder toss when they spin on the spot.

Complete the Kulrut quest and do the first part of the Arena quest till u get to fight the Slitherfang. Once complete both the Slitherfang will be appear on the site map

Clamberjaws are the worst machines to fight
When I first ran into them near the redwoods Tallneck I died multiple times hah
They are very blind for some reason. You can fight one of them right next to the other one, and he will do it’s best to not help his friend. And they like to run away and lose you a lot. For me they are one of the most boring and annoying enemies to fight.
They’re just so fast and twitchy!
