I wish and pray that you will overcome your long-standing hatred towards Oromo; refrain from unnecessary confrontation with other religious leaders and citizens; control your arrogance and stubbornness; calm down your unwarranted anger and madness; and refrain from political opportunism; prevail over agendas of Amhara activists and their divisive propaganda to ensure that you make rational decisions that transcends the interests of your ethnic groups and political views, and to bring peace, equality and justice for all. However, I don’t have confidence in your judgment and conscience as we have witnessed again and again that you have been practicing and promoting discrimination, racism, favoritism, nepotism and other malicious acts against nations and nationalities of Ethiopia. As witnessed in the history of humankind, anyone who stands against justice and equality always loses and ruins his/her legacy. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, "We shall overcome because the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." I pray that you will not ruin the moment by continuing and insisting on your ethnocentric agenda, focusing on your ethnic privileges only, maintaining the status quo, engaging in confrontation and retaliation as you have been doing so far (just like toddlers), appeasing Amhara political activists and propagandists, and trying to undermine those concerns or issues raised by the other side. I hope you will grow up this time around, and act like adults and responsible fathers; and make transformative decisions that brings peace, justice, equality and happiness for everyone. I hope you will effectively manage your ethnocentric/racist instincts this time around, control your biases and prejudices, conciliate your anger and hostility towards Oromo and other people's religious leaders, so that you can make the right decisions for your church and your spiritual community. Don’t forget that if you stand against justice and equality to maintain the status quo and/or defend your privileges, you will certainly fail badly and destroy your legacy once and for all.
