    VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Kristin has been on the road for two years, and this 2019 Ford Transit is her second van. The exterior has a custom roof deck, outdoor shower, and an alarm system with a siren at the same decibels as a firetruck! Upon entering, you'll notice the partition wall separating the cab from the living space with a pocket door for easy access.
The van's interior has a gas stove/oven alongside a bathroom-sized kitchen sink with a butcher block for the countertops. She chose a 12 volt 80 liter Dometic fridge and installed a slide-out table directly above it. Her favorite spot in this tiny home is the bench seating next to the main door giving gorgeous views with a fresh air breeze. Kristin doesn't regret asking for her employment to be transferred to 100% remote as she still works 40 hours a week, but her office view is forever changing.

Another great thing about the wall is that sometimes dogs climb on the doors and open the power locks when you are out of the van. My Maltese once rolled down my window.

She has a really nice setup in this van. Something to consider would be a Compustar vehicle alarm with the drone mobile app. It will send messages to your phone if the vehicle is messed with. It also monitors temp inside & battery voltage plus remote start with GPS tracking of vehicle location.

A "staycation in a home" I love that. Self-care is important for your mental health and overall well being, and a peaceful, stable routine every now and again is a fabulous thing to give yourself. Your van setup is very efficient, the decor is warm & inviting, and that angled entryway... sooo good.

Very nice. I’d pick up a collapsible flex hose and find a way to connect it to your heater output vent. This way you could drop it on the floor when you don’t want to get blasted on your bench. If it is cold out you could pull the hose up under your bed covers.

Sooo many questions....Where does your gray water go and how/where do you dump it? Same for the cassette toilet? How do you shower/bathe when you're in a public space? You really can sit on the solar panels up above? What about wi-fi? Since you work remotely, has it been a problem?

Solar Module + Chg Controller + Battery/station/Inverter Plug and Play, with no moving parts total cost depends on type of Battery bank but the used Ebay module and controller are only 3-400! Unfortunately many RUclipsrs try to make Solar more complicated and confusing than it really is. 7-10 modules on a home grid tie system only runs 4-7k but installers like to charge 20k+ ? Modules have a 25 year warranty so used modules are ideal at a great bargain for Van Lifers!
Please, solo travelers connect to your community, Live OUT of your van, and get help for any depression that may arise! Safety Tip avoid parking near major freeways as they are magnates for drifters and thieves looking for a quick mark. Travel into townships find a nice apartment community with on street parking and just pull over! Happy Trails!

Very functional and great build, respect!
Didn't fully understand the issue you have with the alarm plan at 18:00 ff - what exactly means you need a physical address, does it mean you need an address cum landline connection for the dispatchers?
If so, you can easily use your own house resp airbnb home as home address, even if you aren't always there. Because You do not need to have a physical landline but can have a virtual one, for example a so called skype in number (costs just a couple of bucks a year) which can be registered under this home address (and you should go and get their mail there for veryfiing the address).
Such a number works totally same as a normal landline number, means it comes with an area code and e.g. if somebody has free landline calls it will be included in the plan and so on. Nobody can make out that it is not a standard landline. And, most important: any calls to that number are either forwarded to your skype app on your smartphone (for free) or directly routed to your mobile number (in that case you have to pay some fees). If you don't pick up the app call (in case you have no data connection) it switches even automatically to your mobile number, so if you have at least call connection you receive the call.
In that way every security dispatcher can reach you immediately, where ever you are. And of course it works same for friends, family and your company mates, everybody can reach you under that landline number no matter where you physically are in that moment.

"Stay-cation" Love it. Great van build. But the coverage about the puppies was totally inadequate! Next vid should definitely include interviewing the dogs. I liked the "I sold my house and all my possessions", and then you open the garage and there is about 14 tons of stuff in there! :-) I suppose the water tank balances the building of sink, cupboard etc one one side? Speaking of weight, did you have to reinforce/ lift the suspension?
As our dog [a Border Collie] gets older, he emits more [and "flavoursome" ] gases at night, our major concern is good ventilation when we build out our van!
