I have a cartridge of mega man 5 and it is hands down the best mega man platformer out there. Not only does it have the best levels in the series, it also has the BEST final boss fight in mega man history. Seriously everyone should go look up the final Sunstar fight. I just beat it again last weekend. Love this game!
There's a difference between rare and expensive all though they are often hand in hand. There's a few titles out there that are rarer than more than half this list (Gameboy CIB especially is just rare in general). I own a few on this list, avenging (USA is just as rare as pal, Sumo fighter, Jimmy Connors sealed etc. There's a few I'm not going to name (about 5) Because I know a lot of collectors are looking for them and we don't need more competition (the infos out there do your research) but I'll say that a game like winter Olympic games lillihammer, waynes world and hit the ice, have startlingly low sales. On this list though I will say Sumo, F1 and the potato games are super rare and Beethoven is basically non existent.
It’s madness who in their right mind would wanna fork out that sort of money for these games. Mega man aside, That jimmy connors game looked complete garbage. The rest don’t look any more fun. Vita is infinitely better. There’s a lot games for the vita though that are starting to cost a bomb. Madness
Another stellar video Retro Dodo, great job Rob!
Thanks!

Lucky you!
Very nice. Thank you for the video!
Thank you too!
Except for those Mega Man games I didn't even know any of those existed.
Very cool to learn about some lesser known history!
Imagine paying 4K for beethoven movie tie in game 😂
Wow. A loose cart of Spud's Adventure sold on ebay recently for over $500 USD.... 😮
No way I found sumo fighter in a pawn shop for about $7 like 10 years ago and I’ve just always kinda had it sitting around lol
stuff like this is why I support emulation... those prices are insane
Waynes World for the GB is worth around $110 just for the bare cart.
There's some bizarrely rare licensed games on the old-school Nintendo platforms
This was a fun and enjoyable video to watch.
i second that
Thank you so much!
Toxic Crusaders is missing from the list
Agro Soar should have made this list
Wasnt Avenging Spirit re-released on Switch recently? Also I would LOVE a Megaman GB/World collection.
