I have a 1962 f-100 that I owned since i was 16 years old I'm 50 years old now. 351 bored .040 over, stroked to a 410 c.i. four speed AOD transmission. 9 inch posi 3.55 gears.
The idea of the unibody was more cubic inches in the bed. But I have read that when loaded that the doors would open over train tracks.

Building a 61 stepside myself, Black and Chrome with shockwaves and small block ford. Also have a 63 unibody long bed, getting a 331 Hemi, one correction tho, they came with an inline 6 not a v6, awesome truck tho
You been digging up money in the backyard wow bet that’s a hundred grand a built over big block is 25 k to start everyone wants one I got 5000 in mine n broke now

@@Vintageamt1956 put a load of logs in the back and rip up a mountain road and see. My 62 had ripped metal behind the cab.
