Nice job well detailed,hope you will consider showing the part numbers of the new items you used. Easy to show them when listed on the packaging,would help others order new parts for their repair replacements.
If you were just changing the Dana 30 axle U Joints due to wear.Would pulling the axles out displace the center axle disconnect locking ring held in the folk end? So could you just remove both outer axle shafts,renew the U Joints then simply refit into the axle tube. Or would the center axle disconnect need relocating correctly?
If you’re just replacing u joints you shouldn’t need to pull the central axle disconnect. The engagement ring and fork is on the inner shaft when disengaged. Just be carful when reinstalling the axle shaft as there is the axle seal in the cad housing
