When high school students Molly Ringwald and Randall Batinkoff fall for each other, they wind up taking a crash course in adulthood in this contemporary romantic comedy. Molly ("The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles") stars as a fledgling journalism student who can't wait to see her name in print. Randall is hoping for a scholarship to Cal Tech. On top of the world and in love, their futures seem idyllic until one little thing throws them off track - a baby. This unexpected "change of events" doesn't sit too well with their moms and dads, who just aren't ready to be grandparents. So Molly and Randall split from their families, get married and begin a life on their own with their new "bundle of job." It doesn't take long before the honeymoon is over, diapers are in, and late dates are out. But in the end, sharing kisses beats doing dishes as Molly, Randall and their families discover that the best love of all is...FOR KEEPS.

this is probably going to sound so random and i don't know if you'll even see this but i feel like i've been seeing you in comment sections in videos that i've watched for like years atp 😭 i thought it was just a bunch of people with the same profile picture but i guess i was wrong lmao. i feel like i"ve discovered something that that's been there for years i just i didn't notice. this is basically a exaggerated way of me finally saying hi to someone whose comments i've liked for years.

She’s was doing fine by herself, that really makes you nervous doesn’t it. Ooooof I love that line I’m keeping that one. That’s one of our many struggles that a lot of us have we have these overbearing overwhelming family member that the the second we start doing something with our lives we start succeeding on our own it makes them insecure and they want to take that from us they want us to feel insecure. Is sad and confusing because they always want us to succeed in life and we do there nope the world is a dark scary place that you’re cannot face alone you need to hold your hand and not be independent🤦🏽♀️

"Stan doesn't just disappear when something bad happens, like I do." When in the entire movie has Darcy ever left in the face of conflict? I love this film, but that line never made sense to me.
She found out he got into school and purposely kicked him out and ran from that instead of dealing with it. It was not right. Stan not telling her was not right, but he had to process it. Darcy found out and kicked him out and made him think she didn't love him and even worse have him thrown in jail. So it does kinda make sense.
