Well they wouldn’t be close to a title if it wasn’t for him so maybe do some proper scouting on centre forwards next window so you don’t have to rely on your GK against pub teams.
As a goalkeeper I agree with this. I thought he had a poor game on Sunday. Close to his body for goals 1 and 3 needed to use his leg. The two really good saves he made you'd expect from a potential international player at his height. He was slow to get down to both goals. Overall through the league campaign though he's been excellent. It does amaze me how some fans think he had a good game. I suppose it's one of the few bonuses being a keeper, the less aware can miss mistakes that an experienced keeper would notice

Very different keeper to shagger, where he made saves with his feet. Butland attempts to get down and doesn’t.
He is a crowd favourite because Rangers goalies always have been, add that to his stature, how he holds himself and now he can’t be questioned. Untouchable. He has very little to do most games, makes some good saves in others, but nothing beyond what I’d expect of a Rangers goalie.
A Rangers defender on the other hand is on a hiding to nothing. Make a single mistake and they are slaughtered.

And 3rd placed Hearts wouldn’t have made top six without Shankland, both players have been important for their clubs.

Ironic? The celtic board have consistently performed badly for many years at celtic. Butland is easily the best keeper in the country and without a doubt rangers most consistent player.
