Hi my Sansung dve52m7750p/ac makes a sound I can't find any videos on. it sounds as if a thin metal sheet is vibrating against another. The rollers look good. so does pulley by looking at it. sometimes it goes away briefly. At first I was hopeful I'd find some lost change in the bottom of the machine. any Ideas as to the possible cause? The only video I have found is by this title.( Samsung Dryer Problem - Making Rattling Metallic Sound ) the guy shows a very different model making the same noise, Than you in advance.
Hi Patrick, thanks for watching and thanks for the question. Metal rattling sound can be caused by loose screw or duct line touching the frame. Also, we did see some cased when drive motor platform was loose and was making similar sound. Try that one. Otherwise call your appliance repair company.
My samsung gas dryer was purchased in Dec. 2021 and installed at home on Feb. 10. When we first started drying clothes it was making a horrible noise when ever the drum was rotating. We tried troubleshooting it in various ways and I was curious if adjusting the legs would be an issue. I think that during delivery/transport the 4 legs may have been off-balanced thus leading the drum to making a horrible squeaky noise. Adjusting the legs helped tremendously. If anyone have a similar issue please keep adjusting all four legs until the noise is gone. We almost spend funds trying to replace the roller inside the dryer but it is not the issue. Thank gosh for attempting to troubleshoot it on our own and then finding the real issue. If you research the other videos on samsung dryers with the noise issue it is similar to what happen to mine but most of them replaced parts that were unnecessary.
I just had a belt, drum support rollers and dry per motor pulley replaced in November but now it is making loud rouring noise when turning and not sure why. I read it could be build up of lint could that be it or could it be something I already had replaced when I still had warranty that I replaced with company in November??? Ugh 😢 Samsung electric dryer
I have a 2015 gas samsung smart dryer. I used another video to open it up but in the video they are using an electric dryer. How do I get the back panel out with a gas dryer?
Hello! Thanks for watching and thanks for the question! My advice - do NOT do that Gas dryers should be disassembled from top and the front side The same approach applies to electric ones
I have read sam sung is having problems with the cheaply made drum itself, cracking at the welds. also could be because the drum is so flimsy and cheap...
Hi! Thanks for really good questions. Indeed each failing part makes specific noise - Idler pulley makes high pitch squeaking sound - Drum support rollers and blower make a loud banging sound - Motor makes a buzzing sound Please let me know if it helps
@@techvillappliancerepair3825 I hear a very loud scraping sound. What part should I replace? We just got the drums replaced last month now it's making a loud scraping noise.
Thanks for the question. It looks like the issue may be with the rollers or pulley. You probably should call the local tech and let them assess the dryer on site
Hi Reina, thanks for watching and thanks for the question. I have to admit that it is har to say what exactly the problem is without seeing the appliance. I am sorry but I am afraid you will need to call appliance repair company in your area so they can run a proper assessment of your dryer
Mine would make squealy noises and then started to make scraping sounds. I bought the kit: idler pulley, 4 rollers, & the belt. When I disassembled my dryer, the belt was still intact. The pulley wheel was missing from the idler arm. I could have replaced the just the idler pulley, but decided to do everything since I was already in there. The rollers had dirt and hairs, so they didn't spin as freely as the new ones, which is why I decided on doing it all. Depending on your model, you could also pop off the backplate where the air duct connects, peak inside and see if the pulley is the culprit. If so, you could possibly replace just that part without having to take your whole dryer apart like I did. This video shows that method: ruclips.net/video/NrbsCsTfpMo/видео.html
Samsung should stick to TV's, their washers and dryers their washer and dryers are terrible they are VERY SLOW they use VERY MUCH energy and are not efficient at all, stay away from their washers and dryers you'll be glad you did.

Hi Elsa, thanks for the comment and thanks for your insight on the potential root cause of the gas dryer.
Do You have any videos on opening or disassembly of the dryer

Hi Ray, thanks for the comment. We don't see much of this particular issue maybe just because if drum is cracked it is not worth repairing
My drum is cracked and it makes a hell of a racked. Samsung is Shit spelled in Korean!!! Never again!
Hi, my Samsung dryer is just loud while drying. No weird noise, just loud. What could it be?
Mine is loud too, no specific noise but just rumbly all the time. Did you find a solution?
Is there a difference in the noises each part makes?
Hi! Thanks for really good questions. Indeed each failing part makes specific noise
- Idler pulley makes high pitch squeaking sound
- Drum support rollers and blower make a loud banging sound
- Motor makes a buzzing sound
Please let me know if it helps

@@joshdiditt same here. I’ve replaced the drums and the pulley. The belt is still in working condition, but unfortunately the noise hasn’t gone away.
Hi Josh, thanks for the question - possibly, drum support rollers or idler pulley is broken
Joshua, it may be also the drum support roller
What can I do to stop the rattling noise?
