Bought the Røde a few weeks ago. Absolute quality and real value for money! You're right on the røde leaving out the lower ends, but I liked it better than the other one. And for recording guitar tracks, you'll want to cut out the lower ends anyway. Besides, the pre-installed pop filter on the Røde really does a great job if you just keep it at a slight angle from your mouth. Your Beyer pop really made me go 'oof'. Cheers from the Netherlands!
What's up, one question.....I want to buy a gaming microphone, I'm between the fox and the Rode NT-USB Mini, which one do you recommend because it would only be for gaming and if the distance between the microphone and me would affect these two microphones when communicating with my playmates?
I bought the RODE on the recommendation of www.youtube.com/@Podcastage, the truth is that it has worked very well for me and I have had good comments from players regarding the microphone when we are playing!@@shed-165hz5
Thanks dear friend for useful review: may i ask a slightly different review: Rode Nt Usb Mini..... vs... SHURE MV5...., Please give your expert opinion on which one of these TWO has a distinctly better sound quality for VOCAL - Singing recording on Apple Tablet Thanks Dilip, India
Dear friend: Thanks for useful demo. Request your opinion on: SHURE MV5 usb mic...&... RODE NT USB Mini... can you please tell which of the above TWO mic - has crisp- clear- warmth sound quality suitable for Vocal- Singing for home recording. Thanks Dilip, India
For solely podcasting, we'd choose the Rode NT-USB Mini. This is because of that extra clarity you get in-voice recordings with the Rode! Hope that helps.
So I'm currently torn between these two mics because I really like what the Rode has to offer but the only thing holding me back is the beyerdynamic's mixing dial cause I think it would be great for streaming. Do you know if the mini has anything similar to the fox? Also loved the riff you played.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The mix dial is something that is unique to the FOX, it dials between live zero-latency monitoring and computer playback. This could be useful for streaming but perhaps shouldn't be a deciding factor for that purpose.

XLR vs USB? Same debate between Film vs digital camera 20 years ago. Time will give you an answer.
Both are not sub 100 mics

Ну так что, сравнил ? Что взял
And what is better?) I also try to choose between FOX and NT USB ( not mini ). I need the best USB mic for vocal
Oh wow, why didn’t anyone mention the magnet
Which one is better for podcasting. If you had to choose one. Out of the 2 mics. The best one would be???? Overall.

This is NOT a touchscreen.
Røde
Those monitors are uncomfortably dirty!
Fox

regular nt usb also has that dial!
