Good info, thanks. But please, so can't the ulcers be healed without taking the antacids? Because firstly, I can't digest my food and secondly, antacids give me stomach pain. Or can I take betaine hcl for digestion and antacids for the ulcers?
Thats "the pickle" I'm in, I need to take antacids/ppi's but then cant digest anything and so food just sits there and causes other issues that probably lead back to ulcers!

I have this burning dull ache that comes in attacks maybe once-twice a day. It's about 2 inches right of navel 1 inch down. I won't feel anything then suddenly a strong burning almost throbbing for a few seconds then fades quickly. If I push on it or bend over when it happens the burning slightly increases then goes away. It's always in the same spot it feels like something is there inside of me lol. Wonder if it's this...
I feel you, I'm trying to lose weight, so I only eat one meal a day, and I'm just so scared if I will get a ulcer, and my mom keep telling me that I might get it, because I already got the symptoms like, aching in The back, chest and heart burn, like for real I'm so scared, but at the same time I wanna lose weight, because im overweight, like gosh.

So, what might help us, would be staying hidrated and drinking "alkaline water" or water with a little baking soda...which supposedly diminishes the acid. Just an idea.

I took a lot of betaine Hcl, digestive enzymes and I think it actually gave me a ucler
