Peptic Ulcer Disease (PUD) is a disease involving ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, often involving the stomach (gastric ulcers) and the first part of the small intestine - duodenum (duodenal ulcers). PUD can be caused by a variety of causes, of which infection with helicobacter pylori and chronic use of NSAIDs are the most common causes. The ulceration can cause a variety of signs and symptoms, which slightly differ between gastric and duodenal ulcers. In this lesson, we discuss these signs and symptoms, including why they occur, when they occur, and what makes them better and worse. We also discuss some complications of peptic ulcer disease, including warning/alarm symptoms.

Guys please go and test for H.Pylori .it's a germ that lives in our stomach. Many have it but doesn't have any symptoms. It is believed to be the cause of gastric cancer, which is one of the most dangerous cancer out there. I just got tested positive with H Pylori. Now waiting for more result. Please pray that it is just ulcers.
I had hpyori 2months ago to be honest it is very bad but I took medication and all is clear now but we must avoid eating food on the streets it is a very bad bacteria
I test positive but all I have is uncontrollable/embarrassing burping.
Tested positive for h.pylori too. Still have pain so getting upper endoscopy in a few days. How are you doing and did you end up having ulcers?
So basically I was having mild stomach pain and burning sensation since last 2-3 months so yesterday I went to the doc and got tested positive with H pylori and also there are uncomfortable back spots!

Thank you so much for this video. My question is: Can ulcer can be mistaken with polyp? Or can the gastro doc might missed an duodenal ulcer through endoscopy?? Bc i have a pain and burning or cold sensation in my right side wich is not stomach, under rib, only in one spot and im wondering if this is an ulcer since I also have HP ..I did ask the doc if she could see ulcer but she said no. Or this is just HP symptoms. Another question is bc the antibiotics aren't 100% in getting rid of HP but rather do so much damage to the stomach lining, will natural treatment help with Duodenal ulcer?

I had a perforated ulcer last year. It almost killed me.
kamdudha ras, sutshekhar ras and acido plan can be very helpful in managing this condition along with some important lifestyle changes. (not taking high raised pillow, keeping spine straight, no forward bending etc)

@@ojeabuluosas3521 believe it or not but I've had a blood test for cushing's syndrome but it came back negative so the London Endocrinologist decided to have my pituitary gland scan mri for scaring it came back positive for scaring witch apparently put any dyexnoses in reasent years in deep water as the pituitary gland deals with all hormones within the body ie when I was 38 i was dyexnosed with klinefelter's syndrome 47xxy but oddly as it my sound the Endocrinologist where I live started in her opinion it had nothing to do with my pituitary gland it was my diet, odd I only started putting on weight after being on testosterone HRT treatment plus many other issues I've had

The are a bit more dramatic in stomach cancer ,
Ehhhhhhh…I wouldn’t say stomach cancer, but ulcers CAN cause it later on if it’s not treated.
After Biopsy clearing symptoms of stomach cancer
Stomach cancer can be completely asymptomatic, it’s symptomatic only if in advanced stage.
That’s why people at risk or over 45yo is recommended to do annual endoscopy. (The same for colon cancer)
