Will it light with a ferro rod, or do you need open flame?

In our experience you need an open flame to ignite fuel gel.

Fuel Gel is great unless you need to store it and then after a few years all you have left is the packet........Trioxane bars might turn to dust but burn still.
Probably why Trioxane aren't made anymore as they last and no company wants a product to last otherwise they reduce revenue :(
