My carbon fibre shark fin went the same way after a couple of years. Just replaced it and got a pair of cf covers for the wing mirrors on my f22 M235i. I've got some Cancoat, so am going to give them all a coat after watching your latest video Reg. Thanks for the heads up and suggestion. Hopefully it'll stop them failing after time. Cheers.
BMW ones are much better IMO. The cheap aliexpress carbon is just gel coated and not lacquered at all which results in them not chipping but yellowing/ fading from the sun! - Are you selling the old carbon mirrors? Id be interested.
